-Shota sits on the couch-

  • sigh* Another Monday done and I'm more pooped than an old car engine. At least I can go turn on to Cartoon Network, which is on it's way back to becoming a completely animated block with only Level Up to finish its season before it becomes completely done, obsolete, and forgotten about. YEP! NO NEW LIVE-ACTION SHOWS PREMIERING IN THE NEW YEAR, when DC Nation returns, and will obviously NOT be replaced!!! Now... let's see what THIS commercial wants to advertise.

[up]Dear Lord, those comments on that post just made my headache worse. Why would you allow comments on something on a website that children frequent? They suck at writing!

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.

I've been seeing commercials for this. I really can't see comedic appeal behind it. It's just really loud, obnoxious, and random without any idea whatsoever how to use those right.

I think the only reason CN allowed this to be made is because Nick Cannon is behind it. :P

Honestly, the clips I've seen have just reminded me of All That and how horribly it aged. Kills my nostalgia more than anything.

Having seen all the commericals for it now, I have a feeling this is CN's new show they will be pandering to. Sigh. Ah well, at least I got one laugh out of it for the whole "I'm running errands with my mom" gangster rap video. That did legitimately make me laugh.

What?! Is Level Up ending or something, so they need another live-action show on their network they can plug?!?!?!

The preview episodes they showed for New Year's seemed more So Okay, It's Average to me. It basically felt like All That mixed with a kid-friendly Jackass at points.

At least I don't have to hear INCREDIBLE CREW YEAR'S EEEEEVVVVEEEE! blaring at me every five minutes while I watch CN anymore, but that only means I now have to put up with Finn screaming about being the mayor of space every five minutes instead. :C

I'm so disengaged by this, it took me 4 viewings of "Running Errands With My Mom" to realize that's Finn singing! Guh.

Aw, so I'm not the only one? I somehow caught a rerun of the show last month, and wow. sad

TBH the only reason I was really checking out Incredible Crew was because it has Finn's voice actor from Adventure Time. I thought it was kinda funny, but the second episode from the two-ep preview on New Year's Eve was already wearing on me a bit.

Somebody already put the show on the Live-Action TV page, but is that fair?

I just needed somewhere to express this real quick after having seen too many commercials of this again: I want to remove the voice box of the black kid on there. I think they're going for intentionally obnoxious in a funny way with him, but his voice just comes off as obnoxious in a "this is the reason why people hate that trait" kind of way. All the yelling and hamming it up literally hurts my ears every single time.

In general, I'm dead set against live action shows of Cartoon Network (1.It's called "Cartoon Network," and 2. The ones they've had have pretty much universally sucked). That said, Incredible Crew is unusually sharp, if frequently lame and annoying as well. One thing that it has going for it is Jeremy Shada, the voice of Finn from Adventure Time, who apparently has this comedic thing down pat. "Running Errands With My Mom" actually had me laughing out loud, and I was predisposed to loathe this show.

Oh, well. I thought it was kinda funny, but nothing brilliant. It was nice seeing Jeremy Shada.

When is teh CN gonna learn that live-action isn't their niche?

When Stuart Snyder stops shoving his "ideas" into the network, like... oh I don't know... having HIMSELF appear on-screen for a bullying promo with Anderson Cooper!!

[up][up][up][up][up]Unfortunatly, before it melted into the firey pits of BS Hell, they planted a sperm of their already shitty DNA into the 2013 line-up of Nick, and named it "Awesomeness TV" to carry out their evil spread of total crap to unknowing innocent children who don't go outside. Or at least that's how I read it on the Wiki page it's on.
