speaking of the broken moon,has anyone in story doubted that Koro sensei did that?Mach 20 speed or not,he hasnt shown anything near that scale.

Not that I know of. I'm surprised they haven't touched upon the consequences of having a bunch of flaming moon rocks raining down from the heavens and destroying parts of the world.

The moon didn't blow up, it just...vanished. Somehow.

If it was completely vaporized, that would cut down on the whole flaming moon rocks thing. On the other hand, you'd have a lot of dust.

Maybe it was teleported somewhere.

There was shrapnel flying around everywhere whenever Koro-sensei was actually shown blowing something up, so he probably isn't capable of vaporizing it like that. Maybe someone else did it?

Chapter 102: The ratio gag slayed me. And I think I saw that foreign exchange student in that crowd. Brazil's outstanding loss may have ended up saving Class E's lives.

Holy crap...the A-team really underestimated the God of Death. As cool as it is to see Nagisa keep his cool and enter assassin mode again, I think he's going to get crushed if he tries to solo him.

"Atmosphere manipulation" is a bit of a stretch for me, so I'm just going to assume that the place is also poorly lit.

Yeaaah, the japanese Killing Intent thing gets rather silly at times

After seeing some of the raw chapters I wouldn't be sure. There's definitely something supernatural about Shinigami, especially since in 108 He appears to be some kind of living corpse wearing a skinsuit, gross.

I'm fine with how killing intent is handled in this series and I like the way the God of Death is being depicted, but how do you not see what a guy looks like when he's 5 feet away from you.

I don't read raws; are you sure you aren't looking at one of those crazy metaphorical images?

Of course. It's talking about "atmosphere" as in the impression a person gives off. It's all metaphorical. This is the first time the kids have experienced a situation like this, with a person stalking after them, intending to directly harm them. All other threats they've faced so far have been either indirect or beneath their notice.

Yeah, in chapter 102 before reaper guy has same "shedding skin" imagery happening before he goes to hunt students This series is heavy on Killing Intent imagery

Karasuma drops him into water and his skin actually peels off like its mask reveal he has a skeletal face like a decaying corpse.

Wait, so he really has bad skin problem instead of just it being another creepy imaginary thing?

Chapter 103: Oh good, Nagisa at least thought his plan through before executing it. Not that it helped. At all. Poor guy, but I suppose he needed to have his winning streak broken eventually.

Well then...I did NOT see Irina's, uh, "awakening" coming. Class E would've only been half as screwed as they are now if they had only given Irina her birthday present themselves.

Moral of the story: Shipping is bad. Don't do it.

So this time Nagisa explicitly thought "Yeah, I'll go ahead and stab this guy in the neck. No problem." Some people seem to think he's just kidding around, that he'd always pull his punches at the last instant and not actually kill someone. Nope. He swings for your neck, and he is absolutely trying to kill you.

After seeing God of Death stripping off his disguise before going on the hunt and with him being all cloaked-in-shadow now, I can't get out of my head the mental image that he's doing this hunting spree in the buff.

This guy is just stupidly powerful. I can't see how they can win this one without some help from Koro-sensei.

Did anyone else get a funny mental image of the God of Death using his super carpentry to set up his trap / lair.

EDIT: Specifically it makes me think of martial arts carpentry.

He was definitely able to manifest some shoes and pants using his super aura.

In-universe or the audience? It's not like his two human targets have any redeeming qualities whatsoever.

In the audience. It's an opinion I've had expressed to me on other boards.

Koro-sensei: So, you're the last one, Nagisa-kun.
Koro-sensei: Now, talk to me about your future schooling plans.
*Nagisa throws a blank piece of paper on the table.
Nagisa: Koro-sensei... I... I probably... have a talent for killing people.
Nagisa: Please tell me... what I'm supposed to do with this.

Chapter 111?! I thought we were less behind than that. Waiting for new chapters of this arc is suffering.

Anyways, Chapter 104: Irina is far more physically competent than Lovro made her out to be; I thought they'd put up more of a fight than that. The display of character development from Itona (and that little bonding moment with Koro-sensei on top of that pile of porn magazines) was probably my favorite part of this chapter.

Interesting, I don't think I've seen that opinion before. The majority consensus I usually see is that Nagisa is an unrelenting sociopath because he has no trouble swinging that knife around. Which I think is a bit extreme because having the guts to carry out a kill doesn't necessarily equal sociopathy.

It's easy to take someone out when they're trying to help you. Irina is not physically that amazing, she works with misdirection.

Yeah, if Class E kept their guard up then they wouldn't have been deceived and annihilated by the world's best honey pot assassin. But I can't help but be impressed by Irina's speed and efficient movements. And that blanket maneuver. Maybe I've been grossly underestimating her since she's always treated like the resident Butt-Monkey.

She IS a professional. If anything, people forgetting that is convenient for her.

Honestlly...they really should have expected that. I mean...she was really obvious there.
