Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

When reading the rules about not launching without a decent description and no less then three tropes, I was under the impression that was min. three filled-out tropes.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettCutlisted and messaged.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTwo more pages:
- Character Assassination: Exampleless stub, was apparently cut already in April 2010 for The Same, but More.
- Oculus Rift: No examples, not sure if it's a trope or a work.
Character Assassination: Cut cut cut. Complaining trope that's The Same But More. We don't need it even if it was a better written page.
Oculus Rift... is bizarre. It almost sounds to me like it's a page for some sort of fictional game system. I vote cut.
Ditto on Character Assassination.
As for the other: Do we trope display systems?

Oculus Rift sounds more like an Useful Notes stuff, but as-is it has no fiction examples. I vote cut as well (also, it's in the wrong namespace).
Also, mentioning the recently created London Weekend Television here.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI suppose that LWT would count as a Creator, but without a list of associated works I don't see much point to the article. Either way, it is in the wrong namespace.

I'll cutlist that page and tell the account they can recreate it in the proper namespace.
Also, mentioning Se.ptitlegqfhdn8o here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWebsite.Nintendo World Report needs some help. Whoever created it has no idea how to do formatting properly.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I guess cut that one. It's a ptitle, and, according to Google Translate, seems like an aborted attempt at translating Brick Joke.

At least one of the the examples on Website.Nintendo World Report is importing drama.
I'm tempted to report the guy so he can get his editing privileges suspended. I'm not the greatest grammarian in the world, but he isn't even capitalizing proper nouns.

I've messaged them already yesterday about format and other things.
I'll take care of the ptitles soon.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAlso, this was discussed earlier in this topic: What do people want to do with To Whom This Wont Concern and Emotionless Guy? I am fine with cutlisting them both.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI am also fine with cutlisting them both.
Would a redirect also work with Emotionless Guy? I've cutlisted the other page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPardon the doublepost, but what the hell is Ra Ra Land about?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOh dear. If it wasn't bad enough that the page is an ill-defined, mean-spirited stub, the name is Engrish for "La-la Land", apparently in the mistaken belief that La-la Land is "paradise" or "a really nice, happy place". It's not; colloquially, it's either "a place where everyone is crazy", Southern California, particularly around Los Angeles, or "sleep".

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.That seems to be a good reason for cutting. Does anyone want to talk to the editor creating it? It's their first and only edit.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't know about messaging the editor, but please, make that page go away. Ergh. (cringe)
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettI've cutlisted it. Fortunately, it has 0 wicks and 0 inbounds.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.There's also the issue of the creator not knowing how to make proper links and putting a 1 and 2 in there.
The bigger question concerning that article is whether we have procedures for dealing with editors creating such articles - I am dealing with a tabula rasa policy-wise now.
Has anyone any more opinions on cut vs. redirect on Emotionless Guy?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell, mean-spirited edits and bad edits both are against guidelines and rules, including the primary 'Don't be a dick'. Also, pages aren't supposed to be created with badly-written descriptions; part of the point of YKTTW for tropes, and using YKTTW or a sandbox page for work page drafts. So I think smacking the editor is covered.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettMedical Monarch was launched without any hats and plenty of disagreeing voices about the name (including myself).
Family Dog: Not to mention there is no description of at all. I can't tell which work it is referring to.
Cut it and message the creator about how to create a proper page.
