I saw a clip of "No Smoking" without sound on You Tube. What really bugs me is that there is one part with a huge cigarette that Chicken looks like he almost swallows and chokes on. But while it did look a bit disturbing, I honestly think it's the best nonsmoking message I've ever seen on a cartoon.

I don’t even know anymore.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnTnNmGvu5E I have found out that the Marsupilami short Romancing the Clone was banned for sexual.
Somebody necroed this thread, huh?
I will mention that years ago, on the CN Video site, I saw "Barbequor" in good quality.
'When You Wish Upon a Weinstein' seems to be one of those banned episodes, like 'Leap Frogs', that's now perfectly kosher (if you'll forgive the pun) to air. It wasn't particularly offensive in the first place, anyway.
And how about, say, "Buffalo Gals"? It's one of my favorite banned episodes - there's so many lesbian innuendos you wonder how this got past the censors. David Feiss even admitted he went too far with that one!
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I saw "Barbequor" on CN on Demand a few years back. It honestly wasn't even entertaining enough to justify looking for it.
The idea that they banned the episode because the Silver Surfer parody was a gay stereotype is laughable when you realize that Cartoon Network has had far more flamboyant, far more gay characters on their shows... I'm looking at you, Him...
It aired at least once on American TV, admittedly.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Even still, though, I'm not sure anyone's missing much by not getting to see it. It's really boring.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here."Man's Best Friend" of The Ren And Stimpy Show, the alleged episode which got John K thrown of the show, supposedly due to the climax where Ren graphically beats George Liquor with an oar.
While a slightly darkish episode (George Liquor is pretty much a parody of aged American scruples which are now seen as abusive sociopathy) it didn't seem that bad. Games even made a semi remake which had it's own rather dark tint (it ends with the owner dying and the duo getting taxidermied). Something is also kinda lost without the episode. I remember watching "Dog Show" and wondering where the hell this owner came from.
They did, at least, later air it as part of the Adult Party Cartoon series, and they've since released it to DVD... so, I think, like "When You Wish Upon a Weinstein" and "Leap Frogs," it's no longer a banned episode.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."A couple of seconds worth of footage in two episodes of Ren & Stimpy aren't the "uncut" DVD. However they are included on a Laser Disc volume of the show.
I recall one of the episodes had the duo living with this married couple, and the scene in particular that wasn't on the DVD was Ren getting his skin torn off by the man's stubble. I think the old man in the bath tub wasn't in it either.

The episode was "Big Baby Scam."
They also cut out the entire Bloody Head Fairy sequence from "Haunted House," for no damn reason.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I heard they cut the bathtub scene in Big Baby Scam due to the old man whistling a copyrighted song.
The old man is apparently whistling "In the Hall of the Mountain King," which is in the public domain.
I'd say it was because it clashed with what John K. originally wanted, which was for the old man to "whistle a happy tune," according to Sick Little Monkeys.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Some banned episodes I know of include the Rocko's Modern Life episode "Leap Frogs" where it was banned because of the sexual innuendo that Mrs. Bighead shows towards Rocko and the Pepper Ann episode where Pepper Ann was worried about her support bras since the network felt it was too risque in content. Also, I'm not sure if "Bye Bye Beavers" really count for The Angry Beavers since it never really aired in the U.S.

I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!hehe pepper ann. I remember it being like the girl version of doug.
Supports cartoons being cartoony!"Leap Frogs" probably can't be considered banned anymore since the network has made it publicly available.
"Bye Bye Beavers" was never animated at all, so I'm not sure if that counts.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."
Yeah, only funnier!
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I also noticed that they don't air The Fairly Odd Parents episode "April fools" anymore for some reason. Could it be for certain content, because I remember it being pretty clean and one of my favorites.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceThere were at least four other episodes that weren't animated, but Bye Bye Beavers is the most (in)famous for what it was going to say.
They don't air it much because they don't air April Fools-themed episodes very often. How often do you see the "Fools in April" episode of Sponge Bob?
In Not Just Cartoons... Nicktoons, the show's producer says that they didn't like the idea of killing off the beavers and that's why it was nixed.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I heard they warded off most of their shows giving a proper finale (at least in the form of one that stops anymore stories being made) since they wanted for fans to keep tuning in, convinced more new episodes may appear.
That's the rumor that persists on this site, certainly. Less cynical would simply be that they wanted to never have to worry about airing order (aside from holiday specials), but that didn't stop Doug from getting a solid finale in the form of the graduation episode (though the Painted Gorge trip was paired with that one, so who knows)
There were a few episodes of several Nick shows that did serve as pseudo-finales.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."The Barbequor episode never was censored in Latin America. I have watched it several times, and if anything, the dub artist for the Silver Surfer parody ramped up his effeminate voice even more.
It must have been even better to watch.

Oh, the banned Bonkers episodes did air once and was actually a two-parter which bridged the Piquel Episodes with the Wright Episodes. Basically, Lucky Piquel was kidnapped and Bonkers had to partner up with Miranda Wright for the first time.
