@naming one empire that doesn't have blood:
Try to name me one state of community that's united until the very end instead. This request is just laced with so much butthurt. I can, instead, name a country that's never invaded overseas, got taken over once by foreigners, and underwent civil wars right after an 8-year-long cleanse of gunfire, raping, toxic weaponry and offspring stabbing.
In all seriousness, perhaps it's because of OUR lack of unity, that we aren't controlled so smoothly from behind the scenes.
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...OK... now I know you're trolling.
^^
...and by that rule, everyone has been oppressed at some point, right?

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'How am i trolling? Just because you dislike my post doesn't mean i am trolling. It IS a fact that there is a relation-ship between usa and israel, as has been my other statements. In modern history, most dictators have been helped to power by bankers of jewish origin, while other leaders who opposed zionism and american imperialism were labelled as "brutal" or cruel mass-murderers.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyGee, make a thread about conspiracy theorists, attract a conspiracy theorist. Who woulda thunk it?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I think the concept of conspiracy theorist has been ridiculed by the media. There are even book about the subject, written by people who finished university, so you know i't serious
Jess Ventura, a former wrestler an viet vet is also one
Well, that's enough from that one. I'll go ahead and block him.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyJesse Ventura is not precisely a shining example of "got his head screwed on straight", I'm afraid. And being a vet doesn't make him any more knowledgeable or logical than anyone else.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I think the topic was Illuminati. And that was written by a person who finished university, so you know it's serious.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI know loads of people who've finished university and are completely fucking nuts.
Same goes for veterans. Different kind of nuts, but still nuts.

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'At least both an be, interestingly verbose in their own ways.
Thankyou, I'm glad you noticed. Now excuse me while I wedge these pencils up my nose.
EDIT:
Well, I just got a PM from our differently-sane friend pulling me up for calling veterans 'nuts'.
I should probably point out that neither was I referring to PTSD nor including all veterans in that.
That doesn't alter the fact that I served with a number of people who were, frankly, batshit insane. Hell, some of my old colleagues would probably include me in that and I couldn't in all honesty say that they were entirely wrong.
For the record, I have PTSD myself, so I get to make jokes about it if I damn well please.

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'If you think someone is trolling, Holler the post(s) in question. Calling the troll out in the thread can't do any good; either you're falsely accusing someone or you're giving the troll exactly what the troll wants. It's best to Holler & ignore a troll (in that order; if you ignore them first, you won't bother to Holler them and that'll just allow them to troll some more.)
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.Another thing that may give rise to conspiracy theories is the lack of understanding that a minority, due to a series of events, can achieve "dominance" (notice the quotation marks). See a short introduction in wikipedia here.

Also, why do conspiracy theorists support authoritarian leaders(bonus points if they're against a certain country in the Middle East), and still claim to oppose an authoritarian conspiracy to kill 90% of the population?
I will say the west is propaganda-filled bias against certain countries, but so are they, name one empire in history that dosen't use massive propaganda. What makes one better than the other? US is out for it's own interests, China is out for it's own interests and Russia is out for it's own interests! You honestly think the latter two countries do things for the good of the world?
Are they like hypocrites or somethings? They believe this Illuminati is obstructing democracy, but they support equally corrupt and repressive leaders elsewhere. They're right, the US has supported dictators when they want to for rather selfish interests, but what gives them legitimacy to do the same? Have they heard of things like Grey-and-Grey Morality and Black-and-Grey Morality?
I have stated I think the political situation in US is very corrupt, but it doesn't mean I somehow think China or Iran's government is the best in the world. They have their own problems, no nation is perfect.

People from a country are much more willing to support their countries Tyranny over anothers. The same goes for countries that are tyrannical, but against your countries enemies.
We were pretty good buddies with Saddam between the first and second gulf wars.. We got along great with Libya until Gaddafi started getting the media to focus on what he was doing to his people..
That's simply how it is. In my position, for instance, I'm more willing to support a tyrannical regime that is against Iran, another tyrannical regime.

To be honest, I don't consider Iran a problem at the moment. They aren't as bad to their own people as some countries we're supposed to like and they don't create too much hassle in the wider world. Sure, they're involved in that clusterfuck with Israel and Palestine, but who isn't?
That isn't to say they won't become a major problem. No doubt they will, if we don't stop prodding them.

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'The topic is why people believe in conspiracy theories, not why they may support a tyrant outside their own country, or Iran.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I think that nearly everybody likes to believe that they've discovered some "truth", or something new that other people aren't aware of. The idea that, "I know something you don't know, and now I'll tell you about it" makes people feel all special.
Of course, the reality is far more mundane. Yes, a great deal of what happens is controlled by a relatively few wealthy and powerful people. That's the way it's always been. But they don't need to hide themselves. Everybody here can probably name a dozen or so actually powerful people who play a major role in global economics and politics.
The people who would compose the "Illuminati" are competing against each other as often as they support each other. Wealthy people and companies set up lobbying organizations that donate money to candidates in return for political favors. The same sort of people sit on the board of directors of major publicly-traded corporations. Corporate ownership is usually determined by major institutional investors.
There's no secret, and no grand conspiracy. Everything about this is right out in the open, usually available for free through the companies themselves and government agencies like the SEC and FEC.
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly.I think the film Shooter had it about right. It's not a conspiracy as such, no organisation, no head to cut off; just a lot of rich folks trying to stay rich. If one rocks the boat he has an accident, or gets accused of groping a maid or something.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'
And the Shah, and Pinochet, and Batista....
....anything I haven't heard before that can actually be tied to Illuminati. Otherwise this is hypocritical foreign policy and catering to special interest groups who want oil. We've seen this before with empires in history, just the US with technology and globalization has a greater hold over Earth.
I will say the US had a role in 9/11, but not directly, it's way back when they trained the Mujahedin in Soviet-Afghan war, and the latter became future Al-Quada. Also the Bush administration arguably ignored warnings. There's also things like blowback you have to consider for the consequences of US foreign policy that explains why the US backlash is strong today.
I will say that chemtrails exist through, and do think they have contribution to Global Warming as the nutjobs would say. However, its more of aircraft having poor or poisonous fuel sources with environmental consequences over a deliberate attempt to poison us. So it isn't malevolent but callous, nor is it as dangerous to our minds as was claimed.
And yes, I am a Paulbot, but not the conspiracy theory ones you see on Infowars 24/7.
