I've put up a new Mortasheen monster and a new site article every single day of October, which will continue through the 31st! I've been reviewing things like my favorite demons from Hieronymus Bosch paintings and my favorite Courage the Cowardly Dog monsters. It's a whole lot of eclectic horror.
I went to Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights last Thursday, and will be going again at least once to see everything. The Silent Hill haunted house wasn't bad, even if I've seen more realistic Nurses in convention cosplay.
bogleech.com for my writing, comics and cartoons. My sister (and possibly her college friends) is thinking of doing a Weeping Angel costume as well, Lu.
Me, I'll probably settle for an avatar of one.
*ponders who a good Whovian's gallery to raid for avatars would be*
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? My buddy is being Mario, and im going to be Luigi and were going to troll my college on Halloween. :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXkI1sTDoEgI went to the one out here in L.A. Does yours also have the La Llorona maze this year? I think that one was my favorite.
Got a leather jacket for the "young Bob Seger" costume I'm working on - I'm trying to model off this particular picture◊, so I figure I need to find the right wig (I've seen a black "hippie wig" online that sorta fits) and a white silk-ish dress shirt to wear with no undershirt, and also grow my beard back enough. The jacket is also a pretty good practical buy anyway - my old one has a broken zipper.
I think I may be finally going to a Halloween party this year, but I still haven't even really looked at costumes. Some I've seen are cute, but none are very original.
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.That's why I usually make my own, if possible.
"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -DrunkscriblerianMy wardrobe consists mostly of outfits that most folk would probably consider 'costumes' anyway...
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Same here. Or things that can easily be included in costumes. >__>
"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -DrunkscriblerianI'm going as Rule 63 Fourth Doctor. Probably just gonna party at the bars.
Pet costumes. $5000 prize.
Since everyone else will be humiliating their pets, I'm thinking a sherpa coat for my dog and a gray muzzle. She shall start a fire, terrorize the Cat, and break the Bat.
I don't plan on dressing up and going anywhere, but I still plan on carving a pumpkin. I'm thinking a smaller one with a Death face.
I have decided that, one day in the future, I am going to make Jack-O'-Melons and a lifesized replica of the Summerween Trickster.
"We're home, Chewie."Nope. Not doing anything for Halloween this year.
No costumes, no candy, no scary movies, nothing.
Just floating around...So, I just remembered that I don't have a camera and cannot take pictures of my dog as Bane.
Next year I shall be Batgirl and take upside-down pictures with gravity boots and a strategically placed chinup bar.
It's not my fault; it's just things are just too crazy right now...
Just floating around...I'm pretty sure I decided what costume I'm going to buy on Friday when I get paid: Mario in a girls costume, but it still comes with the mustache!
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.I think my Bob Seger costume is all set right now. No one I know is having any parties, so I plan on going to a couple of concerts on the 29th and 31st (when I officially get done with being seasonal help at a costume place): Both involve local bands turning into "cover bands" of more well-known acts for the night.
My mom is moving into the perfect Halloween apartment this weekend. It's in Bishop's Folly, this limestone mansion downtown that I used to go by on the bus to school. It looks like a respectable Victorian sanitarium that does shock treatments in the basement and sells suspicious meat to the local butchers. If I were a kid I'd be petrified to call trick or treat at that door.

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!I'm pretending the whole country just called it off this year frankly.
Spoilsport.
My theater is having a party tomorrow, and I'm reusing my Ren Faire costume from spring. On the actual day, I'll probably do what I've been doing for a few years now; stay in my room, watch Coraline and/or Ghostbusters and help myself to the leftover candy.
