YOU'LL PAY FOR THE WHOLE SEAT, BUT YOU'LL ONLY NEED THE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDGE!!!
OK, so I don't actually expect you to go out and film it.
Basically, the point of this game is to take a film (or TV show, or some other media) and suggest a knockoff version that could be made of it. (Preferably one which hasn't been tried before, so no ripping off The Asylum, even though it'd be just like stealing from thieves.) Preferably use a similar-sounding title, though the subject matter need only bear a loose resemblance if any to the thing it's ripping off.
Some ideas of my own:
The 199 Steps- not quite Hitchcock, set in Whitby.
Wendy the Monster Slayer was a character I recall inventing for a collective-story-writing game our family played, whose name was a clear rip-off of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. But she's not The Chosen One... just a trophy-hunter who kills monsters. If she saves the day, she's only after bagging her next prize...
