I think it's safe to assume that All Myths Are True and Crossover Cosmology all apply to the Samurai Jack universe in some way or another, despite how little it makes sense.

How so?
The devil and god have been portrayed in a ton of classic cartoons, and ones inspired by them like the animaniacs. Usually it's a gag after an antagonist or trickster character have died and gone to the afterlife for that one episode, but sometimes it involves literal Deals With The Devil.

Anyway with that in mind I don't think most people would see it as a problem in a cartoon, as long as Satan's not portrayed as the goodguy.

[up]I suspect it's less bad if it's for a gag, actually, with more people being offended the more serious the role given to God/Jesus is (with the exception of biblical adaptations).

Maybe, but you'd expect that portraying any god other than the Christian god would be worse, because it supports paganism or something. Samurai Jack probably also has it being inspired by a different culture on it's side to deflect that kind of criticism.

RE Zeus's absence, I've read that he, Odin and/or Thor alongside other sky/chief gods from European polytheistic mythologies likely trace their roots to a single deity from a Proto-Indo-European religion/mythology, so perhaps he's considered an alternate aspect of Odin in the SJ world.

Super Eyepatch Wolf on his opinions on the ending. Expect a lot of forced acting in his voice as if he is aware that girls find his voice hot. If you get over that, this is a very good video.

I love the entire season, including the ending. I don't feel a lack of closure for any of the characters involved. I do think the final episode was rushed, but that's all.

I would assume Japanese gods exist in a (somewhat) Japanese setting.

The video made me realize how inconsistent the new season is in giving Jack nipples or not.

No you see, using the Polytheistic Alliance is just some stupid cartoon/Asian/witchcraft nonsense, which fundies likely wouldn't allow their kids to watch in the first place, even before religion gets involved.

A one-off Heaven and Hell gag can easily be repurposed to reinforce fire & brimstone propaganda to the little ones.

But if you put YHVH on screen in anything, in any way that does not conform 110% to their specific batshit dogma, then it's a Neo-Holocaust by those damned Satan-worshipping Atheist Muslims declaring open, total war against all of Christianity. "All of Christianity" is a phrase which here means "very specific batshit fundie dogma."

Would anyone here like to see more (modern) cartoons like Samurai Jack? Cause I certainly do.

What exactly do you mean by "modern"? Anime has that covered decently and I'm seeing a resurgence among western cartoons though the adult-oriented ones are more in the line of Bojack Horseman than this.

...precious little that I've seen. The only shows with the kind of stylistic flair I've seen in this show are Adventure Time and Studio Ghibli films. And One Piece.

I'd like some more action cartoons that aren't DC-owned. The last few cartoons I thought were genuinely, visually and thematically solid were Adventure Time, Soectacular Spider Man, and Legend of Korra. Nothing else.

The Voltron reboot is pretty aesthetically appealing in my opinion, especially when it comes to the designs of the different aliens. Just stay away from the dumpster fire of a fandom.

Oh yeah... Handsome Rob wouldn't shut up about it sometime ago... I've been meaning to Netflix that. I never watched the original so I guess that kind of turned me away from it.

I barely remember the original and it's a completely new continuity so you don't have to worry about that.
