I stumbled across Electric Instant Gratification thanks to the random button, and the first thing I noticed was that the image sucks.

It's a picture of a mouse doing... something. The caption just makes the whole thing even more incomprehensible.

What other images are there? Can we pull the current?

Well, I don't think it's misleading. I understood the picture just about immediately and it explained the trope for me. I don't remember this trope, so I didn't know the definition of it, only the title.

Also, off topic, shouldn't Sophisticated as Hell have sophisticated language first?

Well, I suppose we can assume it's electrical since mice are primarily used for tests, but I don't see the "happy" part of the equation here. If nothing else, the caption is embarrassing - does it really have to be all caps?

I'd put the trope in TRS. Image not the only problem.

Yeah, the description is really obtuse.

And Another Duck, how the hell could the image have explained anything remotely relevant to the trope? Why do I have the feeling your idea of this trope, whatever it is, is actually way off?

The content policy means we probably can't use it, but this would certainly get the point across (scroll down to post #12 for the pic).

^I can't see anything porn-y or NSFW there. It also looks JAFAAC

"Happy"? "Shouting" is a better way to put it.

She looks happy to me. Or some sort of positive emotion.

Ah, I see now. It was the upside-down presentation that deceived me.

Ah. Yes, reading people's expression upside-down can be tricky sometimes.

You probably shouldn't ask me about that. I'm saying SFW to just about anything that isn't clearly pornography or equally questionable.

My opinion is that it doesn't come even close, though. If you have to stop, think, and have your mind in the gutter already, it's not enough.

It depends on what the definition of "coming" is: moving to another location, or experiencing an orgasm? Both not being familiar with the source material and having a dirty mind, the second one is what I'm seeing, and because of that... yeah.

It's one of the examples in the anime section of the page, and yes, she's getting off on the shocking.

After seeing the article's examples, I decided to elaborate a little bit on the Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt example. After I get done with work today, I can dig up some screenshots showing Stocking enjoying her electrical torture. She has a truly orgasmic look on her face after the 2nd time.

Ok, attempt number 1: a before and after shot. You can see the look of sheer bliss on Stocking's face after she got electrocuted, while Panty is clearly dazed and stunned. I can also provide a closeup of both their faces as well.

I really don't see bliss/happiness/gratification in that image, I'm afraid.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

I see it (the different pupils and that they're rolled back, the tongue hanging out, the vaguely smiling face, the...shall we say, fluids that have leaked out of that whatever-it-is in comparison to just the blood(?) from the other - and not just the color difference, but where that particular leak is in relation to her head. That said, I don't think a lot of people would get those cues immediately.

[down] I forgot the drool, thanks for catching that.

[up][up][up] 0_0 Oh god. That is... something. Possibly even something that wouldn't fly under the radar on the wiki. There's drool, blood, and a suspicious creamy white liquid oozing from...

I blame Craig Mc Cracken for Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt.

Well, the first thing I thought of was the current pic of Science-Related Memetic Disorder. But if you gank that you'd have to replace it with something else.

That image doesn't seem to have anything to do with the trope though.
