Since it's supposed to be a trope about how green eyes fit certain personality/character archetype, I'd like something that shows that rather than just someone with green eyes.
I thought so at first, but the different kinds of personality one can have can't be embodied in just one person, I think. And it's misleading to only have one archetype amongst them. Those other images for eye colors actually are just pictures of eyes, not characters. For Icy Blue Eyes it's more understandable—but for just straight Green Eyes, I think the only (usually) universal trait is "attractive woman".

The Afghan Girl is perfect on Mysterious Waif. The current (this◊) is also a Green-Eyed Redhead. I like the Tangled image best, since it's very good quality and has no overlap.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Tropes like Green Eyes are going to be split, and Green Eyes itself will be redlinked, so choosing an image will likely end up on one of the subtropes.

None of these proposals carries an obvious trope association for me. We'll probably have to decide for each of the subtropes, but since Green Eyes is going to be split, we might just as well leave the current.

This image has been changed three times without permission: first to Afghan Girl◊, the image on Mysterious Waif. And the others to Rapunzel: 1◊, 2◊. I reverted it back to the previous image. I for one, do not see anything wrong with the current. That said, the second Rapunzel one does look nicer.
I think this image◊ is a bit more in line with Grey Eyes, Hazel Eyes, and Blue Eyes. Or this◊.
