The woman's pose and expression in the current image tell me she's using it to fight or planning to; Keep Until Better Image Suggested. The first or second suggestions could work.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I like the second of the new images suggested.
I found this image of Yoko Yoyo from the PS 1 game Ehrgeiz, but I don't think it's as good. The yoyo looks vague, and the emphasis seems to be on Yoko herself.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency2, 3, and 4 from the OP are good, but I'd wanna see 'em at wiki size before deciding for sure.
Wiki size. Dang, these turned out much better than I expected. Especially the first and 4th. They're all great though.

Those did turn out well...hmmmm...I suppose we should see about getting permission for 2-4 before we get too committed to any of them.
I'll send them each a message and politely ask them when I get done with work.
Bottom-left◊ might be better to condense the thing.

I have a message from another time...I love those! If it isn't clear enough, however, then two or four from the OP might work, though neither is really better than the current.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. But the first suggestion is the best one :(
Showing the yoyo in mid-flight speaks volumes more than someone merely holding one and trying to make it look important, IMO.
Her being dressed like a super hero at least let's people reach the assumption that she uses it as part of the get-up.
Showing the yoyo actually being used as a weapon, hitting or nearly hitting someone like the Yugioh suggestion would be ideal though.
I really like that one.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Dunno that seems like a regular yoyo being used as a weapon. Kind of prefer a weaponized one (like Jun's, with blades or whatever).

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Which is still this trope.
Not clear at all, sorry. Ness is also a good image; I propose crownering this in a few days.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. That argument seems to imply that I said regular yoyos are disqualified :) Just prefer the other...
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Dang, the Ness one is pretty nice.
The Ness image is probably the best one so far.

I love all of these (except the one I suggested). Can we get a crowner soon?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyThe Ness pic is great. I'm hesitant to start a crowner on this until we get permission to use at least one of the Gatchaman pics.
That makes sense.
Of the Gatchaman pics, the fourth one was my fave.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI like the Ness pic better than the Gatchaman pics.
Ahh, thanks for reminding me. I'll get right to work on asking about those permissions.
Edit: I've sent out requests to those artists. Now we play the waiting game...

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
I came across Killer Yoyo and noticed the first thing was the image: It doesn't illustrate the point of the trope.
All I see is a woman wearing leather while holding a Yoyo in her hand. This does not in any way indicate that she uses the yoyo as a weapon or tool. For all I know, she just likes wearing leather while playing with yoyos.
Looking through the examples, Jun the Swan from Science Ninja Team Gatchaman came to mind. Doing a little image searching, I found this screenshot from one of the episodes proper that shows her using her yoyo to deflect an object away.◊
Outside of that, I found a few Deviant Art images (permissions would be needed, of course), that shows Jun and the yoyo a bit more clearly.
I admit that these images wouldnt' be that much different from the current image, but the fact that she's dressed up like a superhero and that the yoyo is in motion◊ should tell folks that it it her weapon of choice. At the least, a yoyo in motion is better than simply holding one up.
This image is a little bit on the sexier side (still SFW though), but it shows the blades sticking out of the yoyo as if flies out of her hand.◊
The quality of this image is very nice, and the yoyo itself is detailed that you can tell it's no ordinary yoyo.◊
If only the yoyo was actually shown. The caption itself says that it's no mere toy.◊ Source: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
