More progress!
Waking up was a slow process. Everyone had some ache or pain they were nursing, and Don was kept busy handing out the bandages to wrap around their heads. True, there weren't much in the way of head wounds, but wrapping a bandage around one's head was what you did after getting knocked around.
“I really hate it when this happens,” Don sighed as he picked up stuff off the ground and put them back in their proper places. There were very few items inside of a pirate ship that wasn't bolted or at least magnetized down, but there was some. “You'd think someone would have put up a sign or something to keep people from falling into those space phenomena.”
“Maybe they were busy,” Gai said cheerfully, wielding the ship's trusty broom and dust pan. “you know, saving planets and stuff.”
“That could be it,” Ahim said noncommittally as she set about straightening the lamps.
“AH!” came a girly scream from the next room.
Everyone paused, and looked at Ahim and Luka. They shrugged.
A moment later, Marvelous walked into the room. “We're out of food,” he said, trailing soy sauce and melted ice-cream footprints behind him. “So we're eating out for lunch.”
Joe and Don's eyes widened as Gai gasped, and they all rushed into the room behind Marvelous.
“My kitchen!” Don's voice cried.
“My cake tools!” Joe wailed
“My snacks!” Gai agreed.
Luka and Ahim exchanged looks, and snickered.

“What, like Gunman World?” Joe said.
“Yup,” Gai said. “I’ve heard things like this happen to Super Sentai sometimes. It’s happened to us to, remember? Gunman, Makuu Space, that ghost pirate ship…”
“But it looks just like Earth,” Don pointed out. “If it were another dimension, shouldn’t it look like, oh, giant rock quarry with a weird sky?”
“Or a big empty field?” Ahim said.
“Or the sea side, with an old but surprisingly sturdy bridge?” Luka said.
“Or a dark forest with ominous mist?” Joe said.
“Or full of Kamen Riders?” Marvelous suggested, throwing in his two cents.
“Well, that just means this is one of the nicer dimensions,” Gai said. “We might find animal-themed Go-Busters or something.”

Actaully, I've got a theory about that. Since the Megazord pretty much depends on five people working together to so much as combine, it might generate an Anti-AT Field that'd cancel out the Angel's primary defense.

@Magey: What part of "No one can ever take them down" didn't you pay attention to? 
Even if the Rangers are down and out in round 1, they've got the ability to morph and to even up the score. The Power Lies On Their Side, after all.
That said, the Angel in question is Sachiel (and a parallel version of it at that). If it were, say, Zeruel, then yeah, the MNFZ wouldn't stand a chance, and the Rangers would need reinforcements from Ninjor, the Aquitar Rangers, and/or even upgrading to the Zeo Crystal.
That clip of Power Rangers Megaforce seriously has me think about doing that Power Rangers fanfic about Tommy and the PR Equivalent of the Go-Busters.

IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME! Seriously, what is it with Nick and this bizarre scheduling crap?
Also, the new movie is planned to come out summer after next. It has the writers from X-Men: First Class and the producer of the Star Trek reboot, so I'm being cautiously optimistic. Hopefully, it and the big screen will do each other justice.
