For the uninitiated... A contingent of tropers (mostly from across America) holds regular get-togethers over the Interwebs on this site called Synchtube which lets individuals, such as ourselves, open and join in text-based chatrooms within typical web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, et. al.) that allow the chat participants to view YouTube videos in synchronization with everyone else present (without even needing to set up an account)... and we've decided to use said chatrooms to play cheeseball webvideos and feature-length movies found in the public domain which stretch all the way from letters B to Z, which everyone subsequently riffs on a la MST3K.
For over EIGHT years, everybody who gets involved mostly finds good enjoymentnote in calling out tropes that are recognized in the videos and stories and coming up with jokes to fling back at whatever's happening on the screen, many of which turn into various in-jokes and running gags (a Coven Glossary is kept and maintained for everyone's help and convenience HERE) to repeat in the chat.
We're always looking for new ways to better coordinate and expand our activities and are more than happy to welcome newcomers interested in joining our gatherings.

Leaving behind the only Captain America movie I'd ever watch... apart from the even worse ones from the 1970s with Reb Brown on a motorbike.
We haven't seen this one in a loooooong time...
Remember those Spider-Man and Elsa videos?
Saberspark, a YouTuber who has made some nice analytical videos on things such as why Saturday morning cartoons vanished or why certain networks have gone downhill, has become aware of them. He made what I think is one of the best videos yet on the subject. He focuses mostly on the genre of fucked up animated cartoons rather than live action videos, but it's a very closely related genre.
Sorry I dropped out last night. I'm not sure what was going on, but my internet connection slowed to a crawl without cutting out (I was getting 800+ microsecond results and timeouts when I did ping tests).
I've got work tomorrow morning, but I'll be back tomorrow evening.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerTonight, our main attraction is Captain America!
Tonight, our pre-show is Captain America! (Sean, that means the episode of Street Hawk you put up would have to be saved for probably Saturday - I moved it to the end of the playlist)
All of it is fun superhero cheese. All of it is Captain America in some way or another.
So come on in, because if you're not with us, you're against us! And you wouldn't want to give comfort to the terrorists, now would you?

Only genuine with our patented Heil Hitler Handshakeâ„¢.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Well, that was 3 different flavors of Captain America cheese in one night.
★ First the classic arcade game by Data East, with its nonsensical story, lame (and sometimes Engrishy) dialog, and constant "I can't move!" refrains every time a player dies. I still laugh at this scene of Captain America checking his watch in a cutscene. Why does he have a watch?!
★ Then the original 1966 barely animated cartoon, which honestly would be less cheesy if it had actual animation. Though the characters' constant need to voice their thoughts out loud in case the audience is too stupid to figure out their motivations is a big part of the corny appeal. "I've got to leap off before those missiles hit!" leaps off just before the missiles hit
★ And finally our movie. Which early on has a lizard injected with something powerful that turns it into red claymation. Twice the intelligence, twice the strength, less than half the framerate. Hey, you win some, you lose some. And why the hell does Cap wear his America-themed uniform under his army camouflage? It's... kinda noticeable. (And I gotta love those fake ears Ship pointed out) And... Red Skull? I kept calling him "Red Play-Doh" in the beginning, before the movie ruined that fun. And my god, the action scenes near the end, particularly with the use of the shield...

Oh, Ho-Oh-HOOOOOOoooooooooo...
Looking forward to an entertaining Kung Fu Friday tonight with some classic chop-socky action VERY loosely inspired by Seven Samurai.
When a single man challenges and crumbles all the Chinese kung fu schools in the area, with no one able to beat him, several defeated martial artists hire seven masters to fight against him. This is Duel of the 7 Tigers.
Oh, Ho-Oh-HOOOOOOooooooooooo...
Time to start off this Memorial Day/Unnamed Bank Holiday Weekend with Kung Fu Friday and another double serving of mXc, followed at the top of the coming hour with the chop-socky classic Duel of the 7 Tigers.

im gonna have to take a break from this site for a while, since my life's gonna be hectic for god-knows-how-long. depending on how things go, i might or might not be able to come back. idk how long this will be, so wish me luck, all.
I hope everything works out.
I would like to suggest a film I discovered while trawling through the depths of the Netflix library:

somethingBest of everything. Hope to have you back soon
All the hallmarks of a contemporary low-budget, streamable family film right there—even beginning with the letter "A" so it can be more easily found around the beginning of their alphabetized lists. I'm sure it's awfully stupid, but whoever made it ain't a fucking dummy and knows how to sell a turd to a subscription-based media provider and get it noticed. I'd definitely be willing to give that a shot.
Anyway, tonight, we got the one and only Clint Howard as a bullied military cadet who finds a way to summon demons and cast spells on his tormenters through his computer in Evilspeak, also featuring character actor Richard "Mollface" Moll (how many different movies have WE'VE seen him in already?) in a small role.
On a side note, I just stumbled onto a YouTube channel dedicated to "American Mysteries & Conspiracies", hosting dozens of videos on the usual kooky subjects, like UFO's, freemasons, and "occultism" in Hollywood and the music industry... plus several recent videos about Donald Trump connected to a Jewish conspiracy (e.g., "KOSHER Trump - PRAYING At FAKE 'Wailing Wall'") and—most interestingly—videos outing Alex Jones as a fraud. But the single most oddball find on the channel is... The notorious two-part 'Diff'rent Strokes' episode about the pedophile who owns a bicycle shop. I might have to keep note of that for a future playlist.
Anyway, we'll get things rolling now with a handful of videos from Lowtax and The Onion.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, Clint Howard stars in Evilspeak.

Ship, you mentioned early last night about coming across a movie you figured would pique or interests?
Anyway, figured on taking our chances with a sports film tonight. Admittedly, even if one is a sports fan, sports themselves rarely ever translate well onto the screen, where narrative structures built around the sporting elements are undoubtedly tired and cliche... but when was the last time we watched a movie about motocross? (Well, I suppose RAD comes pretty damn close).
Here's Winners Take All
Okaaaayyyy.... I'll get us started with some content from Lowtax, plus a look at a British TV comedy series called The Detectives.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, keep your eyes peeled for Rico Suave in Winners Take All.

Wonder how you can make a slasher horror movie centered around an ice cream man one part mildly unsettling, yet mostly silly and disgusting? Well, throw in Clint Howard pranking people with the decapitated heads of his victims on ice cream cones, and you've got yourself 1995's Ice Cream Man:
We've watched that a long, looooooooong time ago. Gave it a . All I can remember about it is Clint Howard, the title, and blood/gore mixed in ice cream.
For anyone who doesn't have better plans this Memorial Day (US)/Designated Bank Holiday (UK)/Monday (Rest of the World), I'm setting us up with a real treat tonight.
This one got a big charge out of everybody the first time we watched this: Lance Henriksen being harassed from beyond the grave by the late, great Brion James (who sure had a hell of a lot of fun in this role—more fun than what we've seen from him elsewhere in Cyberjack as well as aimlessly wandering around a movie set for a day and hassling film extras in 'Showdown').
Here, Mr. James goes full-on Freddy Krueger as the ghost of a vicious serial killer who vows to torment the police detective who finally arrested him. It's a such shame the finished product was originally released as an unrelated "sequel" to the House franchise (remember the original film with William Katt, George Wendt, and Richard "Mollface" Moll?) when this could've certainly stood out on its own, but it's all ours to appreciate now, and that's all that counts.
Here is... The Horror Show (aka House III)
If it's ~ten minutes past the top of the hour and you're reading this, I hope you're free and anticipating as fun an experience as I'm looking forward to, as I set sights on The Horror Show beginning in another ~50 some-odd minutes.
Until then, in the meantime, we'll be passing a little time with Lowtax and another episode of Gamesmaster.

Remember the blatant ripoff of ET: The Extraterrestrial entitled Mac and Me? Well, turns out the director, Stewart Raffill, has been rather busy prior to and since [at least unti 2010] Mac and Me, including a silly-looking crocodile horror title released ten years ago simply known as Croc :
I find it far more interesting that among the director's other screen credits is the sequel to Mannequin. Now that's something to take notice of.
Anyway, tonight we look forward to an early and influential 1970's blaxploitation film called Trouble Man.
Yes, the main character is called "Mr. T" (The "T" stands for "Trouble").
Alright, I'll start us off with Retsupurae and another episode of The Detectives.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, we follow Mr. T (not that Mr. T) in the early, influential 1970's flick Trouble Man.

By my count, this is the 5th time we're showcasing a film where Whoopi Goldberg plays a substantial role (6th, if you'd want to count her very brief uncredited cameo in Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood). Between this film and the other three times we've seen her in a LEAD role (Burglar, Eddie, and Theodore Rex), this one is likely the most "watchable", but take that with a grain of salt.
Here, Whoopi stars as a non-conformist who works at a bank office in Manhattan and routinely chats with others through her computer... who one day receives contact from somebody with a handle corresponding to a certain song by the Rolling Stones, who turns out to be a British spy stuck behind enemy lines in Eastern Europe. Naturally, Whoopi elects to help the spy, and hijinks ensue.
Of "note", this film was Whoopi's first-ever leading role in a comedy, following her breakout turn in The Color Purple the year prior. And so I present to you... Jumpin' Jack Flash (It's a gas, gas, gas).

Okay, Lowtax is back with a new video, and we travel back through time for another recess in the Electric Playground.
Then, at the top of the coming hour... I suppose it's the movie that really "made" Whoopi Goldberg a "comedy" film actress: Jumpin' Jack Flash.

Alright, we'll kick off the next episode of "Street Hawk'', guest starring Sybil Danning.
