Grilled Cheese & ____...

I like grilled cheese and crackers or burgers...

Cream Cheese doesn't seem like it'd go well in a grilled cheese sandwich, but now I'm thinking about trying ricotta in one. Probably with Mozzarella or Romano.

That sounds quite delish, actually.

I can report that Primula Ham and Cheese spread goes well with grilled cheese sandwiches, which will be hence referred to by me as toasties.

I just made a wonderful sandwich.

Cream cheese + mayo + smoked paprika + salt + pepper(beat it until it's a spread), ham, and extra sharp cheddar on sourdough bread.

I tend to prefer eating food in its "default" state, I.e. cheese pizza, hotdogs with no toppings, icecream with no toppings, etc.

Grilled cheese is no different. Just bread, good cheese, and nothing else.

Primula? Are you still eating half-inched ratpacks?

No, you can buy that there Primula stuff in tubes from the supermarket, and you should know this you naughty person you.

/has lived off ratpacks for weeks after various annual camps so must declare his previous convictions.

The worst grilled cheese I've had was at my old college cafeteria, where sometimes you'd get a sandwich where only the bottom half was grilled. It was, unsurprisingly, like eating a grilled cheese sandwich and a just plain cheese sandwich at once. I don't think I ate much of anything else but grilled cheese there though - I guess my logic was that if they can fuck up grilled cheese sandwiches, I shouldn't trust them to get much else right.

Ketchup! Or in my mom's case, orange marmalade.

Although there was bread separately and cheese at the salad bar back in the college cafeteria,...they always had a variety of soups when ever that was for lunch.

French Bread is usually my bread of choice.
