I know I said he was a Black Sheep, but he's still a lord - I don't see him putting up with this kind of treatment quietly

Of course, they don't know everything, either, so they aren't as safe as they think they are.

I'm going to add my character sheet to my sig — if others could do that too it'd make it easier to check up on who's who.

I'm looking forward to yours — the name "Howel" has me imagining him with a Welsh accent, which is always entertaining. "I am the watcher on the walls, look you".

Ah, OK. Makes sense actually, it's a pretty sensitive conversation...

BTW, no "c" in Rodrik. He's quite touchy about that.

Marys has a cruel sense of humor, especially with his chosen punishment for them. He choose that mainly because it would hurt Rodrik as much as it would hurt them.

I feel like I'm stumbling in the dark a bit. I'm not sure whether that guard and his ladyfriend are just there for scenery, or whether they're setup for me to do... something.

You're supposed to get in on that. Obviously.

They're just scenery, and an excuse for me to only write dialog for one of them, for now.

I mean, you could get in on that, but that doesn't sound very in character for Artos...

What time of day is it for the wildlings currently? Just curious, since it would greatly add to my purple exposition.

If everyone's on the same time, I'm guessing this is all happening first thing in the morning.

It is about 10ish for most people.

Also, it is not the same time for everyone. So that there wouldn't be anywhere near as much waiting around, and other reasons, the Rose Singer is several hours before everyone else.

Sorry for my slow posting rate, my internet has been wigging out for the last few hours. It seems to be back to normal for now though.

Also, a small quibble but I was under the impression that Cyvasse didn't become widely spread or popular until a bit into the main series? (I may be wrong but I am thought Arianne said something to that affect in "The Queenmaker" chapter)

It's fine. You're currently separated by time from the other players, so you won't hold thing up.

Also, I went with Cyvasse because it is the only chess like game I know from the ASoIaF series.

Also, is it bad, and this may just be because of the series this is based off of, that I want to add Incest Subtext between Telvor and Brysanna?

IIRC that is correct. Even if it wasn't explicitly mentioned, I have a hard time believing that a game could last for that long without even changing its name.

Oh dear. All I have for him is that he never smiles and doesn't talk a whole lot either (The Stoic, basically).

Of course, I'll only add it from his end, unless you want to add it from yours as well.

Now we just need to cripple a few children and we'll be off to a magnificent start.
