My mom

So I've been neglecting chores under the guise of 'forgetting' them. This morning Mom gives me a list of stuff, including this:

• mt dishwasher

which I don't understand, so I say "what's 'empty dishw' - OHHHHH I GET IT!"

My mother and I watch canadian dramas and trashy VH 1 reality shows together.

My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.

My mom is legitimately a Deadpan Snarker. She even (jokingly, I hope) makes fun of me in front of my friends.

Basically, I can see how a Deadpan Snarker is amusing in fiction but not so much so in real life.

I spend a lot of time wondering whether there were better ways my mum could've handled parenting after the divorce, but in retrospect, it was all above and beyond what most would've managed.

She also took me to see a Hind on display earlier this year. :D
