Meta, what do you think of my ideas (mainy my roster, Spongebob character descriptions, and Rock Bottom stage)?
You will have to search for them but they aren't too hard to find on a thread this small.
@current conversation - What the heck am I reading?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMYou were reading a discussion about my concept.
Actually, the concept I had in mind was non-profit.
Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.I know. But it kinda just devolved into an argument about money... just like the real video games industry!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyM6 pages!? That's far too much! I jest man, I'm looking.
Still, you gotta pay people to do those patches.

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Even if it is non-profit like Super Smash Flash? Well, if I do need money, I'll most likely ask for donations, I guess.
Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.Well, SSF is a labor of love. Everyone on the project (I think it's a one man team) has agreed to not get paid. Even non-profit organizations have to pull in money to pay their employees, even if the company itself doesn't turn a profit.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Looks like some guy has been doing artwork for his own Nick fighter idea:
Some of his roster is great, but some is stupid, and there are quite a few missing Nicktoons. Here it is in full.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMQuite interesting. The various entry/exit quotes for the fighters are fun to read. This certainly helped me rethink my " Nickelodeon vs. Cartoon Network Mascot Fighter" ideas. I've noticed there are a lot of unexpected characters, such as Dr. Hutchison and Man-Arctica. They range from pleasant surprises such as Artie and Vendetta, to more WTF-ish inclusions, such as Kimi Finster (at least the author admits to it being personal bias). I find it a bit gutsy of him to put Timmy and Dora in their divisive older incarnations With element from their iconic younger selves, not to say that I hate the idea. Indeed, their are a few characters missing such as Aang, Arnold, and Po, but judging by the recent addition of an alt-costume for Danny Phantom, as well as adding Tak about two weeks ago, the project is not over yet. I'm curious as to why Rango is an Xbox 360 Exclusive, though. What are all your thoughts on this?

Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.I like most of his roster, although some of the choices are Fan Fic-ish. I dislike how Timmy is based on Live-Action Movie Timmy, and Kimi having a Katana and Fan is kinda racial stereotyping (although like you said, he did admit to bias). He said he wouldn't add Aang because of paradoxes or some crap, which I object to because he already has charcters from both Avatar series in it. I think his only reason for making Rango exclusive to 360 was because he's Green, and he said he only thought of that afterwards, so I have no idea what the actual reason was.
The problem with his roster is that he's giving the cult classics the most characters (Danny Phantom has 4, My Life As A Teenage Robot has 3) and leaving out some major characters. Cult classic fans tend to always over-represent their series (like how Earthbound/Mother fans who want at least 4 characters from that series in Smash Bros) and don't really realise what a Cult Classic actually is. I'm also really bummed out that he won't add Cat Dog - who I was waiting for ever since I discovered the project - and he hasn't even explained why. Apparently he must of thought that Dora and Artie were more deserving or something (sarcasm).
Long story short: It's a good roster, but has quite a few flaws and biases.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMIt's his hypothetical list. He can put whoever he wants on it.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatYes, but the best lists are the ones that would actually have some chance of happening. For example, they would never leave out Aang if they made a Nick fighter with Avatar characters.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI like seeing rosters that aren't something I could come up with myself.
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEYes, but just don't leave out the main character of a franchise if said character is combat-capable.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI wasn't saying that his roster was great. Just that usually the "best" rosters are extremely predictable and somewhat generic concerning character choice. Questionable choices are a lot better and add a bit of unpredictability.
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEI didn't say unpredictable choices were a bad thing, I was saying absence of expected characters is bad.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMWhat about a plot for this game? I think it should involve a crossover of the following universes from the nicktoons that I think are good. (Spongebob pre-season 4, Fairly Oddparents pre-Poof seasons, Jimmy Neutron, Danny Phantom, Avatar: The Last Airbender, T.U.F.F, Puppy, The Penguins of Madagascar (I know nickelodeon doesn't own it, but I think we should include them to further the plot), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (yes, Nickelodeon bought them, so technically, they are nicktoons) and from the shows that have had characters been playable in a nicktoons action-themed crossover video game and have at least two playable charcters in the fan-fiction video game, Nicktoons: Ultimate Brawl Stars. Also only one villain per franchise that have a goal close to world domination, not just "destroy everything". Here's the cast of brawlers: Skipper, Rico, Private, King Julien, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Aang, Sokka, Toph, Kitty Katswell, Dudley Puppy, Jenny (XJ-9), Vega, Tommy Pickles, Kimi Finster, Zim, Rocko, Jimmy Neutron, Timmy Turner, Danny Phantom, Plankton, Dr. Blowhole, Mr. Crocker, The Shredder, Azula, Technus, Professor Calamitous, and Vexus. Also, I was thinking it could be a Smah bros./ Marvel Vs. Capcom 3-type fighter. Is is bad?

Hey, MagcargoMan, so out of curiosity, what's your roster for the game?
Now's it's Shulk Time!Well it isn't final, and a lot of these shows I haven't seen in years (and some I haven't seen at all), but this is what I have so far.
I don't want characters who appear on the Nicktoons channel who aren't actually Nicktoons (Dragon Ball GT, Iron Man: Armored Adventures), Live-Action shows, or who are made by them but aren't their property (The Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda Legends Of Awesomeness). I also spoilered some of the choices I thought people wouldn't see coming that would be really cool.
Characters:
- Sponge Bob Square Pants: SpongeBob SquarePants, Sandy Cheeks, Plankton (via Mini-Mecha), Dennis
- Danny Phantom: Danny Phantom, Vlad Plasmius, Ember McLain
- The Fairly Odd Parents: Timmy Turner, Jorgen Von Strangle, Princess Mandie
- The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron: Jimmy Neutron, Beautiful Gorgeous, Ultra Lord (maybe)
- Avatar The Last Airbender: Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, Korra
- Invader Zim: Zim
- Cat Dog: CatDog
- Rugrats: Reptar
- The Wild Thornberrys: Eliza Thornberry
- The Ren And Stimpy Show: Stimpy (with Ren assisting, or as a duo if gone the Smash Bros route)
- Hey Arnold: Miles
- My Life As A Teenage Robot: Jenny Wakeman, Misty
- El Tigre: El Tigre
- TUFF Puppy: Dudley Puppy, Kitty Katswell
- Tak And The Power Of Juju (game): Tak
- Monkey Quest: Hiro Mightypaw
There was one other character I had that I bet no-one would guess, but I wasn't so sure about revealing him because I may make this an art project like that guy I posted about above, and if I get around to actually doing it, then anyone on here who has a Deviant ART account would know all the characters.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI think it looks nice but, no Jenny Wakeman or Hiro Mightypaw?
Now's it's Shulk Time!Jenny Wakeman is there.
I was thinking of Hiro, but I'm not sure what his actual abilities are. I've never played Monkey Quest.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMOh crap! Sorry, sorry... But anyways Hiro, from what I remember seeing of Monkey Quest, he could probably use the various weapons that the player uses.
Now's it's Shulk Time!Oh, okay. I'll add him.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMAlso, I took a look at that deviantartist who made a roster for a Nickleodeon fightning game. It nice, but it's got a few... Odd choices.
Now's it's Shulk Time!Yeah, I thought adding Kimi and giving her a katana was very fanfic-ish. And a few of those characters he seemed to be more interested in adding for the WTH-factor rather than thinking of how they'd actually fight.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyM
They're fan projects. They're not paid. It's a labor of love. Unfortunately, for-profit games NEED to turn a profit.
