Do I need to lock this thread until you all cool off? Enough. This doesn't deserve rage.
A brighter future for a darker age.School Judgement: Pine Hanzuki's problem is that not only is she the Hamilton Burger of the plotline, she's trying to invoke shoujo tropes in a shounen manga.

I do wonder how often the series is gonna let Pine win, actually. Not including off-screen, of course.
Only when there's a nastier prosecutor to take down, I think.
One or (two) week/s later, and I still haven't figured what BHA is.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.
Boku no Hero Academia.
Viz's Shonen Jump will be keeping School Judgment in the line-up. Personally, I was hoping for Ageha.
Also, the World Trigger anime will run for 50 episodes.
They really are trying to wring everything they can out of WT with the least amount of effort possible on their part. Then they'll probably leave it for dead with some terrible filler ending once they're all done.
-sigh- Lost passwords...If I wasn't convinced before, I'm convinced now.
Seriously, 50 episodes? In this day and age, I could understand WT being lucky enough to hit the standard 26. But 50? If that ain't desperately trying to scrounge as much juice as possible I don't know what is.
It's not that weird. The economics are very different between late-night anime and the stuff that runs at a reasonable hour. 4-cour is still fairly common for kiddy shows
Yes, it's not weird. It's just awful to the series they already decided to not even try making an effort with. I'm hardly surprised by Toei at this point. They don't even put much effort into One Piece anymore either.

-sigh- Lost passwords...So Viz didn't even pretend to have a vote on this round of new stories, but went straight for the known quantity. Can't blame them, but it would be hilarious if somehow E-Robot becomes a huge hit.
Like I said, budget problems.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Precure still has really good animated key episodes.
Probably because it's movie this year was more successful then the Saint Seiya one, just not as much as last years due to the typhoon that swept Japan in that timeframe it was released.

Watch SymphogearI really doubt that Toei actually has budget problems. They're just really cheap
Thing is, the Saint Seiya Legend Of Sanctuary movie was the work of theirs that had the highest budget, moreso then any other work that they did, so if they are really just cheap, then they were probably scared out enough to be far cheaper then usual.

The results to a One Piece popularity poll were in this issue.

Gingerbread All Might? Awesome! And apparently the actor that Oda based Akainu's appearance on died. That's sad. How long has it been since the previous One Piece popularity poll, btw? I think it's been quite a few years. And the results sure were different. Trafalgar Law overtook Zoro in popularity and is now the second most popular character in the series, and even Boa Hancock and Bartolomeo are in the top 10! (which is great, because I love both of them a lot)

-sigh- Lost passwords...Barty in the top ten! :D
Thank goodness at least Assassination Classroom is getting treated right as an anime. 26 episodes to jog through the first third of the series, followed by a break.
My Hero Academia's print run has hit 300K.
Here's an alternate take on how E-Robot could have gone.... http://dubblebaby.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2011-02-28T02:23:00-08:00&max-results=1&start=21&by-date=false
Gintama is getting another TV series. That is amazing!

I wouldnt say that either Hx H, OP or Naruto was weak in the begining. The Hunter exam was more shonen-ish, sure, but a lot happened. We get introduced to the main characters, we get hinted at some motivations for every character, we get quite a bit of fights and it ends on a high note. When i was young i always considered the Chunin exams my favourite, but as i grew older i started to love Zabuza arc more and more. Sure, it didnt add much to the plot later (even trhougu it should've), and sure Zabuza was weak considering later villains like Madara, but it was still a beautiful arc that almost made me cry multiple times. It waa a much more Crapsack World back then. I'd say that the Chunin Exams were okay and the Invasion of Konoha was a necesarry evil, the Tsunade arc was pretty long and boring till the end, everything after it was wrong wrong wrong. The only other "holy crap" moment in Naruto was Pain's invasion. Or would've been, if there wasnt that VERY literal Deus ex Machina at the end.I don't know why this turned into a Naruto rant inside of a Bn HA rant, but w/e. As for One Piece, imo it had the worst beginning, possibly even worse than Bn HA. In the first 22 chapters we met our protagonist Luffy, our The Chick Nami and The Lancer Zoro. So i'll give you that. But by chapter 50, the story was already at "HOLY CRAP" intensity. And it did NOT slow down after Arlong Park, acording to a recent poll the amazing Arlong Park is only the #8 best arc. Can Bn HA go the same route as One Piece? Maybe, but i dont think it will. The reasons are because 1. It already showed us the most powerful villains, thus the power creep will be horrible. In Naruto, which still had huge power creep problems, Zabuza was shown to not be the strongest even at the beggining. In Hx H, we did get introduced to some of the strongest (Hisoka etc), but they werent even close to being defeated. And in One Piece... lol, we only saw Buggy who, while he was the strongest Arc Villain so far, he was still a weakling. And none of the ones mentioned above had such a strong plot regression. Seriously, the only thing we got in 22 chapters was chaarcter development, in Naruto we got a taste of the horrible ninja world that wasn't (lol), in Hx H we got 7 new hunters, and in One Piece we got 2 new crewmates.
