Ok, I haven't really caught up with the show lately. (I know, shame on me.)
But I just had to show this!
Spill the beans, mang. I don't get who it is. Is it Thompson?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Saw the latest episode. After a Wham Episode like that, I'm guessing the next episode will come after a last minute several month long hiatus. ;P
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Fortunately, no. Next episode is two weeks from now.
Uh, every early episode with Pacifica?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Another thing I liked about the ending: it plays wonderfully counterpoint to Sock Opera before the birth of Bipper- each sibling is at their lowest point, desperate for help from the other, and suddenly an all-too friendly being appears out of nowhere and promises to help them.
Except with Dipper's it was the answers to the universe and Mabel's was her optimistic outlook on life. I was half expecting Dipper to come and interrupt her, right before Billendin's appearance.

Kind of saw the stuff here coming, but still, wow.
Everyone here's already said everything I can say at this point.
So...how many episodes do we think are left?
Oh God! Natural light!Every time I see someone write "Billendin", I read it in Justin Roiland's voice.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.So does Bill have the ability to time travel independently or did he take The Slow Path to get to Blendin Blandin?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Well, given that Blendin seems to appear throughout the twin's timeline and that Bill SEES ALL, I don't imagine it took very long for them to run into each other.
That being said, I'm curious what Bill promised him.

Spill the beans, mang. I don't get who it is. Is it Thompson?
It's Soos. Soos makes a cameo in the upcoming Howard the Duck #1.
The guy in the preview I linked to that had the buck teeth and the big green shirt? Soos.
That raises an interesting question though- do Bill's powers outrank Time Baby's?
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.I didn't really see anything besides the green shirt.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Didn't see this posted yet

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Well I'm late to the party. But it was easily predictable that Bill would take over the world.
So is there like three episodes left according to ending pictures?
I personally don't blame Mabel for starting the apocalypse.
The whole thing happened because Ford and Dipper (again) became obsessed with the whole "TRUST NO ONE"-thing. If Mabel knew how important the rift was, she would've never given that thing to Blendin/Bill.
STOP. KEEPING. SECRETS.

While I do understand why Mabel did things and I am sympathetic to her, I will say it is still Mabel's fault in many ways. Even if she doesn't know what The Rift is, she knows that it belonged to Ford - and thus she has no right to give it away to anyone anyway, knows that Bill is out there as well as there are all kinds of crazy shit in that town that has routinely caused them problems, and was giving it away for an ultimately bad reason. As much as I sympathize with her, the mistake is still her fault in many ways. The fact that I can rationalize & sympathize with why she did what she did doesn't justify it.
And no, before someone plays Dipper/Ford card, I don't think they've proceeded perfectly either. Just because 1 side screwed up doesn't excuse Mabel's fuck up either.

Improving as an author, one video at a time.Well, there's also that she was under a great deal of distress and seeped in incredible sadness due to her whole world crumbling around her within the span of a single day, which very obviously is gonna cloud anyone's judgement. No one's really in the right here, but that doesn't mean that nobody has any excuses for what they did.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I think there was a cipher in the activity book about how Time Baby is scared of Bill.
Peace is the only battle worth waging. It's not an excuse though. Yes, she did have that. Dipper has tons of things too with Ford that rationalize why he did what he did, yet tons are willing to jump on him and blame him from what I'm seeing here. Yes, those factors were involved. That doesn't condone her for committing the action that resulted in how things ended. I feel bad for her, but I'm going to say Mabel fucked up even if I still like her and I am going to hold it on her because she gave something that wasn't hers to someone else while having no knowledge of what it was because she didn't get what she wanted. I really do feel for her, I do, but that doesn't erase that it's something you shouldn't do and I'm not going to be any less harsh on her than I would anybody else in this predicament.
Hence the reason I said rationalizing something and justifying it are two different things. All you did was rationalize it, it still isn't justified.

Improving as an author, one video at a time.I feel for Mabel as well. And it's not hard to see how her day went terrible, so I can understand being emotionally compromised.
But she messed up and that just makes me still feel bad for her, but I understand that she wished to basically screw over Gravity Falls because she didn't want summer to end.
I'm sure Mabel would see it the same way. I can't imagine she wouldn't blame herself. And, as you guys are saying, she wouldn't exactly be wrong. Her actions are understandable, but they were wrong. Mabel screwed up, big time.
Are people really blaming Dipper for this? I've really only been seeing people blame Ford, mostly.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.
''Welp, Morty, you've f-BRAPPPP!-*cked the planet now."
