FATAL is called the worse tabletop ever for a reason. I seem to recall that it's also rather misogynistic, though that has nothing to do with P5.

Eh, I vote to keep FATAL-its main point as an article has to deal with the tropey element of So Bad Its Horrible. The main reason to cut it is more about bitching about things you don't like.

There's a reason why there are already two devil votes for FATAL.

FATAL is the only RPG that interrupts the grappling rules to explain how you can rape your opponent before going back to grappling rules like nothing happened.

I'd have stubbed it, if only because it's memetically bad and I believe there's a link that explains everything you'd need to know so TV Tropes wouldn't need to catalogue it.

But I'm sure not crying about it going away on the Nice Boat trip.

By not discussing FATAL there will be a huge void in the RP specific knowledge base of TV Tropes.

It's not a big deal-I'd understand a cleanup and lock or something-but it feels like it's such a well known thing that it's irresponsible to just purge it entirely.

...I could mock those rules, Shima, but I don't think it's really necessary. Everyone is already thinking it.

Such meticulous care for detail... which, IMHO, is pretty much unnecessary from a gameplay or even narrative perspective.

I've literally never heard FATAL mentioned once outside of this site.

Seems a lot like Dead Baby Comedy / Crosses the Line Twice / Refuge in Vulgarity to me.

Martello it's famous on tabletop websites for being creepy as hell and it's review on Rpg.net and the creator's response.

It comes up at cons a fair bit where it is mocked and then we all go back to ignoring it doesn't exist. It's basically the card you pull out when you want to mention the worst game ever and have no one argue with you.

And it's a source of terrible terrible jokes.

That said, I'm not sure how well known it is outside of gaming circles.

It is truly a legend.

That sums up how several people (including me) see Otomedius, although now I'm not sure it should be cut at this point (Otomedius, not FATAL, that can be cut). It's on par with Queen's Blade (although that seems to have been better received by the public).

I don't think keeping an example as the example of most horrible is a good idea. Sounds too absolute, much like 0% Approval Rating.

I wasn't aware of FATAL until I saw this site. I don't know if that's good or bad. XD

Just so that we're thorough on this, someone should mention that a game system in and of itself is not porn, even if it has rules for sex. ...I feel a bit dirty now.

Although you could certainly make a case for pedo-bait for either.

I say stub, clean, and lock. It is bad (both in terms of what the P5 measures and in terms of the utterly broken game mechanics) but not quite kill-the-page bad.
