Yeah, the thing is with romance novels, they can actually be porn, but because they're romance novels, they don't get wrapped because it's a long standing tradition that they're marketed at adult women. And because it's sort of expected that at least half of them are actually porn.
And Fifty Shades Of Gray is pretty much said to be porn any time anyone else actually brings it up. It apparently starts out with hardcore anal.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dick...I hate that stereotype.
-insert long rant-
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerMoved and refuted due to Shima-ninja:
Based on what (admittedly little) I've seen, I would say that it's no worse than your typical romance novel. It apparently deals with BDSM, but that probably isn't an uncommon theme in the genre. I think the reason it's so infamous is mostly just because of its reputation as repurposed Twilight fanfiction.
Okay, has anyone here actually read it?
Wow. Sorry I asked...

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Well, I think we can safely say that it contains very graphically-described explicit sex, whether or not we conclude that it's porn.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I asked the one person I know who is reading it and they said that it was part of the opening scene.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickHeh, poor you. I could already drink at seventeen.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI could drink if I wanted to. Excuse me while I go acquire masses of alcohol that I don't actually want, Komodin. I'll just sit on it. Gloating.
...Sex Sells, probably.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)The author's a very kinky girl, you know, the kind that you don't take home to Mama?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I shall join you in your drink, Arha.
Really close to crossing the Moral Event Horizon here.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerAnyway, what should we do with Moetan? I mean, the page image alone appears rather pedobait-ish.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Re: Fifty Shades Of Grey: ...Well, this is a hilarious revelation. Now you've got me wondering... (Sadly, you may never see my response, as I'm too cheap.)
Re: Moetan: I thought someone looked over it in this thread before? (Can't find it right now, going to sleep.)

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.@Komodin, nice Superfreak reference, but why would drinking being illegal actually stop you from drinking? I've been drinking for ten years, since I was sixteen. The one dry year in Afghanistan isn't included.
Moe-Tan is definitely pedobait.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler. As for as Moetan goes, you have two options. One, cut for being unashamed pedobait. Two, turn the article into just focusing on the thing it spawned from, which was harmless from what I understand. The second option sounds kinda silly, though.
and I can take a look if need be. If my sources are accurate, though, expect a cut verdict.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenI believe Moetan was brought up and eventually determined to be wanting.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Considering the current page is focused on the show rather than the books (and Drama CD)...
...I'd suggest cutting out the anime tropes, then seeing if anybody'll actually want to put up tropes for the other material. If they don't, then no loss.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)@Pyrite - Yes, it was looked at and discussed, and I've looked at it myself. It's definitely the kind of thing we want to cut.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Looking at my sources, you're probably right. ANN explicitly labels it as "lolicon" anime.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenWanting, as in keeping the page? Really?

Oh? I wasn't sure. I don't think the exemption actually mentions books, so I was using the manga ruling of "can be sold in bookstores without shrink-wrap".
EDIT: I checked it out on a prominent Canadian bookstore's website. Not only does its page make no mention of being 18+, but it's actually recommended on its home page. Chapters/Indigo is the Canadian equivalent of Borders, if you want a comparison.
