Hmmm... Well, I like Vyse/Fina/Aika, because the real romance in Skies of Arcadia is ADVENTURE!
Not a big fan of videogame romances because I think it's heavy handed and awkward, but I think that of most depictions of romance. When you've got things like the end of reality as we know it, romance seems out of place as a concern.
That said, Junpei and Chidori bring tiny little tears to my eyes every time she says goodbye.
A few: Tidus and Yuna, and couples from Bio Ware games, even though they're basically half-self inserts.

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySnake and Otacon for life.
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!Yeah, I'd probably second Tidus and Yuna, if only because FFX was probably the first game I owned that had such a focus on romance. I'm sure I have other couples who rank high on my list, but I can't think of any at the moment. Probably because it's late and I should've been in bed about three hours ago...
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadOn that note, Varric and Bianca.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.Femshep and Garrus: he's pretty much the only guy in the whole series (aside from Anderson) who truly understands Shepard's dilemmas, and in a sense they're a mirror of each other. Hell, he's practically Maleshep's best friend by ME 3.
The runner-up would be Monkey and Triptaka from Enslaved: Odessy to the West. They're not a true couple per se, but they slowly develop from hating each other and Monkey trying to find ways to break his slave collar into Monkey willing putting it back on by the end of the game.

Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning.Aww, X 2 X. <3
I like FemMC/Aigis in Persona3.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyShiki/Eri is the true TWEWY ship.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahWhich frees up Neku to be romanced by Joshua.
Therefore, I support Shiki/Eri.

"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI'm just glad that Home Stuck can't spill into this. As much as I love that work, rabid shippers don't need three extra aspects to ship.

Do you believe love can bloom, even on the battlefield?
So, I am a mushy-kinda guy and romance is a sure way to make me pay more attention to a story and its characters.
So which video games do you think have had the most powerful love stories?
My choice to start off with is Fei/Elly in Xenogears. I'm tired though so I'll explain later. Or maybe there are otehr Gears fans on here who can join in and say it for me.
