- ... Huh. Akira Toriyama inspired him to become a mangaka? And apparently a lot of other mangaka were similarly inspired by the same guy? I wonder if he knows that.
- Oh dammit, he never gave thought to how he's going to end MonMusu?! Well, here's to hoping he doesn't write himself into a wall in the process.
- ... Okayado, writing a serious sci-fi story? Now that's something I'd read just to see what he'd do, even if I don't end up liking it.
- Nice to know he was deeply involved in the anime's making. He might not personally believe it, but I personally believe that his constant presence alone was an influencing factor on the faithfulness of the adaptation. Also, LOL at him being half-happy half-embarrased about the anime... and his mortification about Episode 1 being a "complete mess" because he never thought of the possibility that it would be animated. (Though in all honesty, I'm not sure if I would've thought differently had I been in his shoes. I probably wouldn't regret it, though.)
- Damn you, NHK. Let the man speak his mind! That said... "You should start with what you like" is a very good advice that applies to a lot more than creative writing.
- ... FUND IT! FUND IT! Come on, someone tell Okayado-sensei that there's a waiting market for this! Inverting Bleached Underpants is okay!
- OK, show of hands: Who did not expect that Okayado's interest in monster girls started with catgirls?
That said... Hmmm, a magazine that had an ad for a manga/anime with a catgirl, a female vampire, and a lamia-like girl... Does anyone recognize this? I'm afraid it doesn't ring any bells to me. - Bah, who cares what the Moral Guardians say? Don't let them bug you, Okayado-sensei. (I do appreciate the unambiguous confirmation that yes, the horse part of a centaur is indeed anatomically correct down to the morphology of the reproductive system. Man, now I feel sorry for all the human women in the Mon Musu world who want to get it on with male centaurs; they can't enjoy the full experience without risking their lives, unless the woman is gifted with the same superhuman durability that Kurusu has.)
- Doing the research every time he wants to add a new species? That's what I expect from Okayado-sensei!
- Oh yes, the all-important question: Who's your waifu, Okayado-sensei?
... So it's technically Centorea, but he's having "adulterous" (I think he's kidding about describing it this way) temptations regarding Tio, Cathyl and Merino. Seems like he prefers tall girls for the most part.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. He has been drawing a lot of minotaurs recently.
Yeah, he's been doing a lot of drawings for that game-idea with the minotaur girls.
It's been fun.j Breath of Fire series is practically Furry Fandom fooder by design. I mean, the most human looking guy is a dragon.
The mask is to give him time to gather how thoughts for an answer, and also hide his embarrassed expressions till he can compose himself.
48 in English, usual place. thread 150862047 post 150863453
... You know, it would've been nice to know that Chapter 47 is already out (since Nov 23, to be specific). It's a very short one, though that's because Okayado-sensei is apparently sick. I hope he got better.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Heh, looks like that whole "milking" thing was a bit of a red herring.
Not a whole lot actually happened in this chapter, but it's cool to see some of the more species-specific products. Neat worldbuilding stuff. Also, Polt seems to be unaware that she's basically marketing a sex toy as an exercise machine.
Reaction Image RepositoryWhere the heck is this translation of Chapter 48? I can't find it at the "usual place", unless mine is different from the one you're looking in.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. It's posted on 4chan. Just Google '4chan [thread number posted a few posts ago]', then ctrl-f the post number.
It's been fun.Batoto.
Neat chap indeed, with some pretty funny gags. It's rare to see Polt in the sexy shenanigans, but she looks pretty… unaware indeed.
Papi mistook the dark area for a nap room apparently. Or her bad vision prevented her to read the left sign.
Or Papi just read the sign and ignored it.
Reaction Image RepositorySome interesting notes about the chapter 48 is that it might gives hints on possible other monster species. Like in the widespread, it gives us rock lizard sub-species, and there are possibly other more monstrous species like treants and yetis.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! It's nice to get some more of that cultural interaction aspect going on for this chapter. Not to mention seeing what kind of products are thought up for the different species was nice as well. I've always rather enjoyed these aspects for the series so it's nice to see them get some more focus this time around.
The merchandise were funny.
I also liked that there were male extra-species there. Seriously, did anyone notice the dwarf?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I wonder if we'll get some more of the expo in chapter 49, or whether it'll mostly focus on dealing with vampire girl there.
It's been fun.I hope its the former. I cannot care less about Vamp girl if I tried.
So it seems the new girl is named "Kyuuri", and, in one of the pages from next chapter that the editor posted, Papi mistakes the name for "kyuri" (cucumber). That's why a couple of cucumber appears when Papi talks with her (at first they seemed two frankfurters to me though...).
I just wonder if the official translation is going to keep the Japanese name or is going for something lame, but typical of Okayado's humour, like "Vampy the Vampire".
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.The could go with "Vampira", so they could have the added Shout-Out value.
Reaction Image RepositoryThey should call her "Boris".
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.Fresh 49

Looks like there are some new species there - some pixies, perhaps, and a woman who looks like a dwarf. Also, some succubi.
It's been fun.Looks like Darling is mingling with a leech, a mosquito and a lamprey girl.
He sure knows how to pick them.
Has anyone here read the I Heart Monster Girls volumes? They're basically collections of fan comics from various artists that were sent to either the author or the company that publishes the series, and there's 4 of them, though so far only the first two volumes have been officially translated and released {The other two will be translated within the next few months}. These books are really funny and contain events such as Kimihito accidentally being turned into a squid monster, Mono and Papi interacting, the main cast going to a DVD Store and looking for movies based on their own species, etc. I'll let you see the actual jokes for yourselves though. And the art in most of the comics is quite good too.

Okayado being interviewed by some youtuber.
He's a pretty chill and humble guy, as usual, but I don't get the purpose of the mask, everyone knows his face by now. Unless he's really shy...
So we have to expect Daily Life with Alien Girl now?
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.
