Well, he'd probably figure out that they made the shards, at which point he'd freak out because they might want the powers back. And he might also figure that they have an incredibly painful way of getting those powers back.

Besides, the 63!bat would be after getting the powers.

No. It just absorbs the knowledge that surrounds their power, for example, knowledge on certain spells. I've written out the character profiles for the two NPCs that will be in the RPG. One for Dai-Shocker and the other for the Red Pirates. They will be posted along with the OP.

• Appearance: "Heh, so that's the leader everyone's been talking about? Pink-wearing pansy."◊
• Chosen Power/Tech: Zero Slugger (Ultra Series) A pair of blades that can act as boomerangs on their own, combine into a Double Weapon known as the Zero Twin Sword, or combine with the Color Timer to fire off a powerful blast known only as the Twin Zero Shoot. When it crashed into earth, it came combined with the Color Timer, Nicholas' form of "artificial heart", when it starts to blink red, it means Nicholas is running low on energy and must rest, otherwise, he will die.
• Faction: None
• Personality: He often shows a cocky and arrogant side, especially when using his Zero Sluggers. However, when things are quiet, he too becomes silent, and often a caring guy.
• Bio: Having graduated from High School, Nicholas decided to apply for a job, working at a local Starbucks. There he was able to mingle with a few people and on his spare time, mingle with other people on the forums.

The excitement levels here are off the chart.

Also, just because we don't get made to look like the characters we're stealing powers from doesn't mean my character isn't going to have an otaku moment and make it happen anyway.

• Personality: In a word: Shy and introverted, at least until you can break the shell. If you manage that, then you're dealing with an individual who's probably slightly too hyperactive for their own good or anyone else's, but also slightly distrusting of people who want to help.
• Bio: Jon's reclusive and introverted nature can be traced back to being abused by members of his peer group at school. As a result, he's picked up a certain distrust of people who honestly want to befriend or just help him, in case they turn around and backstab him as well. As a result he turned to the internet for an escape once he finished school. Found a shard of glowing turquoise crystal between the games on his shelves, and the rest... well, that's what we're here to find out, isn't it?
