First of all, the examples are ALL real-life examples from actual forums. There aren't any fictional examples at all. Second, some of them seem rather whiny, which makes this page a borderline Complaining About Forums You Don't Like, which goes against our interests. And last, I'm sure we all know people like this anyway. This article can be summed up as "That one dude who hates new people". It would be just fine without examples — real life ones anyway.

Wow. This is basically Fandom Heresy version two.

This is not a trope. It's some kind of a reaction.

If we find enough In-Universe examples (gaming webcomics should have those), then those would be all that should be included.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

Nope, it does not need examples. Although I will hate to see the one about a.f.u go.

Somehow, 4chan manages to be this trope despite the fact that users are completely anonymous. Established users detect newbies with something akin to the Force.

I'll be sad to see this go. Oh, well.

The examples are still there, but I'm not seeing any argument to keep them. I'll cut them myself.

Should this page be indexed on No Real Life Examples or Example Sectionectomy?

Example Sectionectomy, I believe. Are there even any examples from fiction?

Don't know that. Meta Four said No Real Life Examples in the commented-out note he put in the source, allowing to add fictional examples.

ETA: This is the comment in question:

NO REAL LIFE EXAMPLES, PLEASE. If you can find examples of this character-type from fiction, then feel free to start an example section to add those.

Then, No Real Life Examples. If we'll allow examples from fiction (if anyone finds one) it's not an example sectionectomy. That's "no examples at all."

Thanks. I was asking because I had put it on the No Real Life Examples index but someone removed it with the reason that a page without at least fictional examples shouldn't go there.

It can have fictional examples, if anyone can find one. So it's not "no examples at all." It's "No examples from Real Life."

OK, I have put it back on No Real Life Examples Please under the understanding that it will stay exampleless until someone can add a fiction example there. I also linked this thread in the edit reason so that there is no confusion.

Is there anything else to do?

Just so no one thinks I've been villainous upon the removal, I hadn't read the hidden message. Hence why I thought that the NRLEP tag was added just to say "no examples whatsoever". =/

I mean, some tropers DID add pages given an Example Sectionectomy to the NRLEP page. Pages, namely, like Fandom Heresy, Award Snub and Mistakenly Banned. And it turns out that they were all by the same person. =/
