Since you say new characters are always welcome, I was contemplating playing Chrollo Lucilfer from Hunter X Hunter. He'd basically have the ability to magically steal other ponies' Cutie Marks (and therefore their Talents), but only if he manages to get the name of the Talent, a description of the Talent and a display of the Talent first, directly from the pony. I should be able to get back with a character sheet soon.

Appearance, Pre-Pony: "Will you morons just keel over already?"◊
Appearance, Pony: "Will you ponies just- wait, what?"◊
Personality: A simple and brutish girl who hates over-thinking things, or indeed putting any more thought into things than the bare minimum necessary, though she's definitely cunning enough to hold her own. She's lazy, mostly because her powers come to her without trying, and hates it when she has to exert effort or when things become difficult. She shoulders on when the going gets tough not out of duty, but more because she generally has nothing better to do anyways. However, her bluntness makes her at the very least a good judge of character, if a very unflattering one.
Abilities and Equipment: Her cutie mark takes the form of a yin-yang symbol, which marks her job as a fixer of any phenomenon that threatens the balance in Equestria, whatever that balance actually is supposed to be, which she herself is unaware of. To this extent she carries with her a large quantity of magical sealing cards, whose express purpose is to neutralize enemies without killing them, thus allowing her to peacefully resolve incidents as they come along.

Personality: The opposite, perhaps even the balance to Reimu, Marisa is raw energy crammed into the inadequate body of a pony. She is virtually addicted to her own power, and nearly always goes at least slightly insane with the rush of battle, always going for the flashiest spells and sometimes failing to account for friendly fire. She's a very hard worker, who has to practice every day to keep her magic in working order, and this has payed off by making her a very powerful if still naive and inexperienced witch. Mare. Thing.
Abilities and Equipment: Her cutie mark manifests as a burst of brightly colored stars, which doesn't really hint at her talent. Like Twilight magic is her talent, but unlike Twilight it's a very specific type of magic. She exclusively uses anything that's flashy, relentless, destructive, colorful, or any other word that marks it as a spell that doesn't have the first clue about subtlety. Marisa is in short a master of raw destructive magic.

• Name: Commander Diana Shepard, Paragade Vanguard
• Series of Origin: Mass Effect
• Pony Breed: Unicorn (to facilitate Vanguard)
• Appearance, Pre-Pony: This girl.◊ Red-haired, pale-skinned due to consistent time spent in N7 armor. Eyeliner present. Eyes are pale.
• Appearance, Pony: Tired due to five years of consistent fighting, including two deaths and six months spent imprisoned. Coat is actually coloured bright purple, mane is mostly blue with parts of red. Her eyes are the same color. Her cutie mark is the N7 logo◊ over the paragade symbol◊.
  • Personality: Shepard is the true example of a Determinator - someone who never gives up, even when times seem their darkest. A real war hero, Shepard's Reaper kill-total numbers four, along with thousands more regular enemies who meet their end through conventional means. Shepard is quick to trust everyone she meets - though misusing that trust will result in your severe injury or death. She sometimes attempts to pry information out of the people she meets, in an attempt to understand where she's at/going. Though usually a nice girl, Shepard isn't afraid to knock a few people in the face or bust open their kneecaps to get the job done if it comes down to it, and can see both the emotional and pragmatic side of issues. Due to recent events, though... including the losses of many friends to a Reaper of the Grim kind, and her second death disconnecting her from the rest, Shepard may be a broken spirit with little to live for now that the cuttlefish problem is solved.
• Abilities and Equipment: As a Vanguard, Shepard carries an M-22 Eviscerator shotgun, an M-77 Paladin hand cannon, an M-99 Saber rifle, and a Black Widow sniper rifle (this can be changed to an M-12 Locust SMG if needed considering the Black Widow's sheer firepower*

She also several abilities tied to biotics in her bloodstream - namely, the ability to use personal shields, put shields around allies, charge at high speeds into enemies with incredible force, use her shields to cause devastating biotic explosions, and to fiddle with an enemy's mass and pull them towards her. She also has Shockwave, which is better if I link to rather than explain right now. Finally, she is wearing N7 armor - though she also prefers to spend time outside it.

So how is Shepard?

She's not overpowered more than it is that people go out of their way to lose to her due to her status as a Barrier Maiden.

Bitch, I'm the GM and I do what I want. Also, Shepard is accepted.

Which is another point I would bring up: you're the GM. For all I know you could Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies the entire RP and we would be able to complain and that's it. Besides, safe anyway.

My headcanon is that Discord and Yukari are drinking buddies and that they orchestration the crossover over a game of hold'em.

For some reason I now want to see this happen. Non-canon of course, but I want happen.

The thing is that I didn't even start the RP, so unless Bindle is my proxy...

• Name: Iori Yagami
• Series of Origin: The King Of Fighters, specifically right after XIII
• Pony Breed: Uhh... pegasus?
• Appearance before worldswap: "Remember me when you look at the moon.◊" Also, there is a crescent moon on the back of his jacket that seems to constantly swap orientation.
• Appearance as a pony: Iori was easily distinguishable from a crowd back in his home universe, and he stays that way as a pony. His coat is the same shade of black as his jacket, and his wings appear as if they are eternally lit by purple fire. The crescent moon on the back of his jacket unfortunately becomes his... cutie mark.
• Personality: To put it simply, Iori is not the kind of guy someone would like to be around, and he prefers it that way. Violent, blunt, depressed, and somewhat crazy are a few of the many colorful words that describe him. Do NOT call him emo or goth, though; he will literally tear you apart and leave you to the dogs.
• Abilities and Equipment: Iori is the current wielder of the Yasakani no Magatama, a supernatural string of beads that allows their wielder to create and control flames. This includes setting oneself on fire (and the user is not burned if this tactic is used due to Required Secondary Powers). If enough power is placed into these supernatural flames, they can temporarily paralyze targets. However, Orochi's corrupting influence causes the fire created by this artifact to be tinted a unique shade of purple. The power of Orochi has another benefit for Iori, which is independent of the Magatama: his fingers (and as a pony, hooves) can be as sharp as butcher knives, and can literally leave claw marks in the air they pass through. He is also a highly skilled martial artist who fights with a combination of ancient Yagami martial arts and pure instinct, leaving him somewhat unpredictable. He prefers to stay out of the air if possible, though.
•    WARNING   : If Iori is near Orochi or his followers for too long (or possibly at a completely random time), he may lose himself to the Riot of the Blood, temporarily becoming an animalistic killing machine who attacks any living thing he sees. The only known way to prematurely stop the Riot of the Blood is to knock out the victim.

Idunno... with my characters, the Riot of the Blood won't be a good sign. They'll see him trying to kill everything and respond with much, much gunfire in his general direction.

Hopefully, the whole Riot of the Blood won't be a factor. I put that up for completeness and just in case.

Ah. Would be useful in certain circumstances, just... I hope he never goes into that, because it won't end well for any side.

Yeah, if he does Riot, somebody's going to end up in pieces. Could possibly be him, but who knows? I'm not sure if he's still able to go due to the new GM business.
