Well~ this is funny. XDD I really need to get back to playing those games. (has all three) =w=

God I'm so glad my mom bought a PS 3, otherwise I wouldn't have a way to play Spyro Year of the Dragon. (has the original PS version) Or the first two, got them off the PSN, or is it SEN now? :3

Also Midday Garden is my absolute favorite theme from Yot D. 8D All of my love~~~. ♥♥

The one with the Sorceress. And other playable characters. Like Sheila the Kangaroo and Sgt. Byrd, the penguin with a jet pack and rocket launchers.

I love how Insomniac Games did their research. The game came out in 2000, which was the Year of the Dragon. In the game, the story is that the dragon eggs comes out every 12 years. 12 years later, in 2012, it's Year of the Dragon again!

^ Sgt Byrd. Was. AWESOME!

Man, it's been so long that I played Spyro that I can't remember which is which 0.o I think the only one I still own is one of the GBA ones. Season of Ice, I think.

Which was the really awful, ugly PS 2 one? Where the character models endlessly bobbed around in a way stupider way than you've ever seen in a game before and the controls sucked and everything was confusing and... yeah, that one. That one was my first :P Goodness knows what spurred me to play the others, but I'm thankful I did.

Um... I dunno. If you're talking about Insomniac (the original developers), they went onto stuff like Ratchet & Clank and Resistance, while the later games (Enter the Dragonfly, A Hero's Tail) floundered. Then we had The Legend of Spyro trilogy. It created a massive Broken Base due to being so different from the original series (suffice to say, the fact that few of the original characters appeared didn't help). And now we have Skylanders, which is a Dolled-Up Installment with Spyro's name slapped on it so that it would sell. I heard it did pretty well and got favorable reviews, and it looks like Activision is going to start milking the crap out of it, as a sequel is already on the way. As in some four or so months from now.

As I understand it, Insomniac didn't know how much further they could have taken Spyro, mostly due to the fact that he didn't have hands.

I had Year of the Dragon back in the day. Then I didn't.

Then I got it again. But it was scratched and a good chunk of the game was unplayable.

Then I downloaded it off PSN. And I was all woohoo this game's awesome and shit.

Then I got to Evening Lake. And the Sunrise Spring music started playing.

And I was like what the fuck where's my awesome Evening Lake music.

And then I went on the internet and found out that Evening Lake only had its own music in the Greatest Hits version, which is not the version on PSN.

And ever since then I have hated life.
