Christian family group claiming The Old Republic will gay up your kids

I do remember that my brother once brought home a little pamphlet from a Christian store that noted that faith in God was actually sort of like the Force.

And sort of like duct tape.

Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning.

This ticks me off. I am what is generally referred to as a fundamentalist Christian, and Bioware's decision to introduce same-sex romances didn't bother me at all. I doubt very much that it would bother most of the Christians I know, and that's taking into consideration our beliefs about homosexuality.

Some people do not wish games to contain certain content. Those people have every right to make those views heard, and attempt to pressure game companies into complying with those views, just as any of us would have the right to complain if they announced a game that ret-cons Luke and Leia's father to be Jar-Jar instead of Anakin.

Just because you do not dislike homosexuality in games does not give you a right to act like anyone who does is stupid*

Being rated T for Teen does not exclude younger people from playing it, nor should it. If their parent/guardian thinks that the kid can handle it, then there's no problem letting them.

I don't think it the dislike of the content that people are making fun of. I'm pretty its the fact that they're trying to say said content will turn people gay.

You do know what disseminating wrong information is, right?

They're claiming that positive depictions of gays in media will turn your kids gay, and therefore gays should be persecuted.
