Manic Pixie Dream Girl

I've come to the conclusion that I need one badly. Still, I'm sure it's just a trope. Or is it? Did anyone have any encounters with Real Life examples? Where does one look for them? Is it worth the trouble?
Also, I'm pretty surprised that there was no such topic so far.

In any case, it's a sexist stereotype invented by nerds who probably weren't sufficiently interested in actual human beings to date real one.

Well, duh.
What I'm talking about is that an extremely extroverted girl is next to the only person who can (and may want, due to being extroverted) overcome the defenses of an introverted psycho. Otherwise we get Twice Shy and awkward silence.

It's aimed at lonely nerds who have no life and no drive to meet women, so they set their standards to "Impossible girl" in order to justify their non-interest in normal women as well as their incapability of meeting them.

Well, I've created the topic to find out.
If we take the rational approach, Manic Pixie Dream Girl = Girl + Extroversion + Handful of quirks + Interest in a boring dude. I guess it's safe to assume the first 3 to exist, not sure about the 4th.

I like a guy who is kinda relaxed and laid-back, but not Boring. I don't think anyone likes Boring.

The thing is, an MPDG is just that. No person in the universe is just that. People are way more complex than just who they want to bone, quirks and extroversion. Hence why a MPDG can't exist, as their whole schtick is just being those four things. You can have traits reminiscent of them, but the concept of an actual real life MPDG is just as likely as your waifu coming out of the screen and starting a relationship with you.

Uh, now I'm not sure how to go on with the discussion without derailing into Self-Deprecation. If anyone has something to add, I'm listening.

Well, extroverted quirky chicks are definitely a thing.

But could you land one?

Nothing more than my usual "The only way to get in a relationship is by talking to people rather than expecting them to talk to you" stuff.
