It sure as hell looks shit, all right.
I mean, is there any good gun that is good enough that you will reliably use in battlefield that comes from Japan?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I really don't know actually. If memory serves they've got some domestic AR-18 derivative now.
Oh really when? From what I know, America and Germany pretty much make all the best guns.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Nah, we've been seriously dropping the ball lately and Germany makes overpriced shit that melts in your hand.
You want the best small arms you gotta go to Russia.
Oh really when?Ah, yeah, those.
True, no guns in 20th century is ever used as widely and long as AK series, as far as I know.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Eh, simple fact of the matter is that the AK is a world beater now. Both in cost and effectiveness.
There's nothing the West can do that Russia can't except be infinitely more expensive.
And Tuefel I know you're gonna come in here tomorrow and give me shit for my advocacy of Russian firearms but those are your words, not mine.
Oh really when?Well, that's part of what I meant by best gun; it's damn easy to acquire/produce and has reliable enough quality. As quoted in Lord of War, AK-47 is the true weapon of mass destruction.
(Does not possess any statistics to back this up, more intended as a joke than anything)
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Well it's not just about ease of acquisition and manufacturer anymore.
Your modern AK actually outperforms it's Western counterparts. So not only is it cheaper, easier to use, the most reliable thing around, it's also just plain better.
There's no reason not to pick an AK anymore.
Oh really when?Nothing?
Keep Rolling OnNot when it comes to small arms.
There's other stuff we have them beaten in. Like fast food and cars and day to day life.
Oh really when? Not exactly an accomplishment considering the west has been at that end for how long now? Russia is just now catching up.
Who watches the watchmen? No, I refuse to believe the Russian McDonald's will ever be as good as our McDonald's.

Oh really when?Lol. So if we had freedom fries what did they have?
I still want to pull apart the Pecheng and see its guts especially that barrel assembly.
Who watches the watchmen?Putine.
Like poutine, but instead of cheese curds and gravy on top of the fries, it's vodka.
You want the best small arms you gotta go to Russia.
Japanese small arms have a storied tradition of being shit, don't they? Like, didn't they have a pistol in WWII that often exploded in the user's hand?
Although there is the intersting factoid that Japan at the end of the Sengoku Jidai period had more guns in it than the entirety of Europe.
I dunno about it exploding, but the Type 94 Nambu might as well have a nonexistent safety.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotYou know when you dun fucked up when it is more dangerous for the enemy when you toss them your gun and yell "try catch" instead of just upholstering and trying to shoot him.
Inter arma enim silent legesHow unfortunate
Oh really when?Damn it I need trigger discipline kitty image again.
Who watches the watchmen? The state of a given nation's technology decades ago isn't really much indication of what it will be like now.
Schild und Schwert der ParteiEven then only a few of their fire arms really sucked hard. Mostly the pistols. Their rifles were considered to have some of the sturdiest and most well built actions because of metal composition. The array of their fire arms really aren't that bad and they sent quite a few allies to their graves. Some of their weapons were simply creative. Like the "Knee Mortar". It could fire both grenades for the rifles and even small mortar shells. While it had some limitations it was considered a pretty effective weapon.
Who watches the watchmen?GLORIOUS NIPPON STEEL and all that jazz.
"Yup. That tasted purple."
That is the Minebea M-9. Japanese submachine gun that started out in life as an Uzi knockoff.
It's shit.
Oh really when?
