He has some good prank videos but I think he was trying to push the envelope a little too hard this time.
Who watches the watchmen?Agreed. You really do have to be some from of genius to hit this level of... quiddity. Still, it is rather in the general field of researching for a Darwin Award. <_<
I'd say that stunt should have earned him a honorable mention.
For your amusement: Modified AR-15 design legal under NY SAFE Act gun law.
Looks kinda bizarre, yeah, but as long as it works I'm all for thumbing one's nose at a stupid gun control law.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpThat actually looks somewhat comfortable to me
Oh really when?Lol. That is fairly clever. They basically made the AR-15 more like a regular rifle stock.
Who watches the watchmen? Can somebody remind me why stocks are evil, again?
When in deadly danger, When beset by doubt, Run in little circles, Wave your arms and shout. They aren't. Scary black gun syndrome at it's finest.
Who watches the watchmen? That NY SAFE Act has similar-enough restrictions to our MSSA Act that perhaps the NZ Gov't should sue for breech of copyright.
Similar restrictions and just as fucking pointless.
It's one of those "make people feel safe rather than actually make them safe" laws.
"Yup. That tasted purple.""Security theatre", in other words. It's the same reason the TSA exists. Cargo-cult law enforcement at it's finest!
Schild und Schwert der ParteiFor a non-political bit of amusement: Shooting with a PKM: the right way and wrong way, both in one lesson.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpIs it meant to be held by the magazine there?
Oh really when?I had a CATM instructor suggest gripping the M-16 by the base of the magazine well (never by the magazine) with two fingers, calling it the "Soviet Grip". Not quite this, but then again, he didn't teach us those sweet combat dancing moves either.
Magazine well grips go a bit further back than that; both the Sten and MP38/40 could be gripped like this.
"Yup. That tasted purple."It helps get a firm grip for those whose arms are not quite as long as others and the rifle grips are just a tad too long.
Who watches the watchmen? Not sure why it's taken so long for length-adjustable stocks to become common.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Probably cost more than anything. Are there many adjustable stocks available for rifles in the 7.62mm range? Because I've always associated collapsible stocks more with assault rifle weapons or lighter carbines (like the M1 Carbine)
SLRs had interchangeable butt-plates for different sized soldiers. There's versions of the G3 with MP 5 style stocks too, but I'm not sure that counts.

"Yup. That tasted purple."Isn't gripping a gun by the magazine a bad idea? I know with something like the PPSH, the speed of the mechanism makes a magazine grip the safe option, but doesn't it cause misfeeds or something?
Direct all enquiries to Jamie B GoodYour not gripping the magazine but the magazine well. The chute like part that the magazine feeds into.

Who watches the watchmen?Hell, the MP40 was designed to be held by the magazine well◊.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Not holding the magazine started with the crappy US GI mags. Newer mags will still feed if you use them to support the rifle or you hold it by the mag. Hopefully. Some people still don't do it because some rifles (looking at you AR-15/M-16) don't like the mag moving.
For some rifles, collapsible stocks are a pain to install. For others, it's a matter of cost or looks. Some people just like the look of wood. For others, it's the cost of the kit.
All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48Holy shit. This might have nation wide effects. IE, I could actually be able to get a gun in NJ if this ends up being applied nationwide.
I'm baaaaaaack
There is stupid, and then there is, you have to be brilliant to be this stupid.
