The title is self-explanatory. Just talk about enemies or bosses from video games that scare you or creep you out. Try and post a picture/video of the enemy/boss if you can. I've always felt slightly disturbed when ever I see a bullsquid in Half-Life, mainly because I'm afraid of octopuses and cuttlefishes, two animals which this enemy reminds me of. I especially hate it when this enemy comes close to me and tosses me with their tentacles. *Shiver* These enemies slightly disturbing me is part of the reason why killing them in the game is fun though and the creepiness of this enemy also adds to the atmosphere. Also, the killer piano from Super Mario 64. When I was about 3 when I first played this game, this thing made me cry and gave me nightmares for awhile. Didn't help that around the time I was really getting into the game my parents bought a grand piano. Even had nightmares of the piano I had IRL coming alive like the one in the game. Hell, this thing still gives me a bit of a Jump Scare now when I accidentally awaken it. BTW, here's a picture of the bullsquid.

Basically everything in System Shock 2.

Hybrids, mutated people with alien worms growing out of their heads that whisper things like "the many sings to us" and get freakin' PISSED OFF when they find you.

Cyborg Midwives, surgically altered women who tend to alien eggs, and sing them lullabies. "Precious ones need lots of meat."

The damaged protocol droids. Think C 3 PO if he were deranged and trying to murder you by exploding his own body. They sound so cheery and helpful when they approach you. You have to tiptoe past rows and rows of these things in storage on one level.

the spider sisters in the ps2 version of The Hobbit

this was after a very long stage with a lot of spider enemies of varying sizes that also scared me.

and theres also the spiders in the ds game Nostalgia which arent actually spiders or even arachnids (they only have six legs), but still scare the shit out of me because the back legs are just...ugh. ive thrown my ds at the wall at least 3 times in reflex because of those things, and dropped it twice when opening it to see them.

and then there are the several giant spider woman bosses in "Okami". cartoonish, and generally not that bad untill they do an attack where their get very close to the camera, which has made me scream more than once...

the giant spiders in dragon age origins. first time i ran into them i was zoomed as close to my char as possible and i ran right past their spawn point, so i suddenly got a face full of giant bulbous spider ass.

and there are the giant frostbite spiders in skyrim, and the giant giant frostbite spider...

the spiders in minecraft when you leave your house and they fall on top of you...

the creepers who are both hilarious and scary, and would be perfect webcomic material. but christ, they are amazingly good at what they do. it can take a very specific situation, but endermen can be quite scary aswell.

When I was a kid, the Pinky Demons from Doom used to scare the crap out of me, but only if they actually managed to get close and start biting my face off. It's that damn growling sound...

Then there's the Redeads from Ocarina Of Time. I didn't even have an N64 growing up. I first played this game TWO YEARS AGO, and they still scared me when I first saw them and they froze me in place. Just imagine how creeped out I would've been if I played this game as a kid.

Also, any game with aquatic sections and HUGE MONSTER FISH. This includes the Ichthyosaur, Drugon, and possibly many others.

[up][up] Redeads? Oh god, not those things! I was about 3 or 4 when I first started playing Ocarina of time, I got scared when ever they got close to me, it was mainly their scream that scared me. They still somewhat freak me out now. I remember getting so scared of them when I was younger that when ever they froze me in place, I'd turn off the N64.

Hypno and the Ghost from Pokemon Tower. Didn't sleep for two days after seeing that ghost. Hypno is scarier now though, because of Unfortunate Implications.

Fourthing Re-Deads. Ugh... That scream...

Darkrai, the monster.

Headcrab zombies from Half-Life. More so in the sequel, since you can see the grisly detail of their mutilation by the parasites.

Let's see...

- The ghosts in that pyramid level of Sonic And Knuckles.

- Zephonim spider-vampires in Soul Reaver. It wasn't them specifically I was scared of really, just the whole area was creepy and they would drop from the ceiling every once in a while when you were trying to solve block puzzles.

- Invaders, if they count.

I'm sure there are others.

My friend was under ground mining, saw an enderman, then it ported away. Hes creeping around, but dosnt see it for a few minutes. Then hes down another tunnel and it ports right in front of him! He jumps completely out of his chair!

This is a guy that isn't scared by anything in games. It was crazy.

@Mukora: I don't have one on hand(and honestly I can't find one, 3DS is a bitch to capture footage), but to give you an idea, they actually resemble their official artwork in the remake.

The SA-X. Yeah, I know that it's AI is very abusable, but I'm not talking about it's AI, I'm talking about it's impact it's got in Fusion's story and how this thing has everything Samus had from Super Metroid/Other M. Also, this thing got a close-up when you see it the first time. I still get this feeling of dread whenever I see its empty, soulless eyes...

Redeads are pretty bad, but I'd personally have to say Wallmasters are worse...

[up] Gotta second the SA-X.

Also, those fricken wall Necromorphs and baby ones from Dead Space. Their screams and appearance still give me the chills. In addition, any of the demons from Doom3, me being religious and all, and the Las Plagas heads from Resident Evil 4, especially the ones of the cult group.

Oh hells, how could I forget Dead Space? Probably just about every enemy in that game has scared the shit out of me in one way or another at some point. I think the prize has to go to the Leapers though, especially in Dead Space 2, where they're faster if I remember correctly. Honourable mention to the invincible Hunter and its counterpart in the sequel, the Ubermorph.
