I think rodney's version is excellent. I vote to switch to that one.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Whoops I didn't see that one. That is better, yeah. Even the one whose weapon got cropped out is clearly holding a staff.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. That one works best, I think; the other's a bit cluttered.

I still like the one with the chick thrashing the big dude. I thought part of this trope was that the busty brawler (should be the name of a bar) is usually also muscular and tall? That makes the trope more valid since heavy musculature and large breasts usually don't go together in Real Life. If that's the case, Tifa's not a good example since she's so slim. I haven't played the game — how does she fight? Is she a tank? If so she fits even though she doesn't look the part. But if she's a Fragile Speedster or Glass Cannon or anything like that, she's not this trope. Either way, I think we can do with a more muscular example. Cattleya from Queens Blade comes to mind, among others.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Rodney's in #50 is exactly what I was suggesting. I think that it's great.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.@Martello: Actually, I think the trope came from using large breasts as a shortcut for strength, instead of muscles. That way, the women still look feminine and not like amazons no guy would want. That used to be in the description, before it was cleaned.
I also think that using a muscular woman (like Cattelya, who's the larges female in the series) sort of undermines the point that it's the woman with the largest breasts who's the strongest, and not (necessarily) the biggest and strongest looking woman.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I was going to go with the picture on #51, but it's too zoomed out to make Tifa's larger bust prominent. So I'm going with #50. And we could even still keep the caption.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I think we're pretty much good here.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I support #50 as well.
I like #50 as well.
Reaction Image Repository- 50 is a huge improvement. I still don't think it shows she's the strongest fighter (which is what the trope is), but it's closer.
I vote the one that Satan posted.
This trope is not "strongest" fighter. It's being the brawler.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Right, but it also is the trope of being the strongest brawler. I quote "The tendency for the strongest physical female fighter in a group or cast to also have the largest breasts." It's not a trope about being the only physical fighter, it's a trope about being the best one. Again, it's hard to picture so this is an improvement, but it's not perfect.

@Feather: If you go to the TRS thread that decided the new definition of Boobs Of Steel, you'll find that it was agreed that muscular build should be a part of the trope. At least, that's how I read it. You can see it here. I was taking a break from editing when the discussion happened, so I just read all that today.
@DQZ: It's not being just "the brawler," it's definitely "the physically strongest fighter." Otherwise in casts where everybody fights but the bustiest girl is the strongest, that's not the trope. If that's the case, the trope's way too narrow. Cattelya is again a great example of that. Everybody "brawls," with weapons but still melee, but she happens to be the strongest fighter. Tina in Dead or Alive is another good example.

"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Alright, that's enough of a consensus. The new pic is up and tagged; do we want to keep the old caption?
Yes?

Anyway, no need to continue here.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Sounds good; locking up.
?
Are they, eh, prominent enough or do we need to point that out in some way?
