I zapped that complaint thread. It had already bred, so I got its offspring, too. We don't want complaint threads.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyWhat was the complaint thread?

Herald of the Literature Sub-Forum. Share me your favourite book/series/author!Author Specific: Getting Into Lovecraft
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.YAY! Finally someone contributed.
But just to clarify, you should submit your submissions in the following form:
(Use escape sequence tags around the URL, and quoteblock tags around the whole submission)
It makes it easier to upload on to the database, than a direct URL.
Also, nice touch with the "Author Specific" clarification.

Herald of the Literature Sub-Forum. Share me your favourite book/series/author!Dang... you must have started this after I gave up on it. I know I haven't updated the anime/manga one in forever.
I would suggest giving it another go, but I don't think I'm willing to put that much effort into it at this time.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!I have not given up, or I wouldn't have decided to become Literature herald in the first place. I am just busy with studies, I will continue updating it by myself when I get the time (maybe after session exams in December...).
However, others are more than welcome to participate.
Herald of the Literature Sub-Forum. Share me your favourite book/series/author!Well, here I go: The Bartimaeus Trilogy
For some reason I'm really freaked at posting this. I just keep thinking: Somebody musta posted this already... When I've already searched the forum titles and looked through the Directory.

Herald of the Literature Sub-Forum. Share me your favourite book/series/author!A couple more.
General:
Specific Author:
The first thread has been merged with another (remember, ONE recommendation thread!)
The second has been updated.
Herald of the Literature Sub-Forum. Share me your favourite book/series/author!Well, I didn't make the first, but it seems like it might be nice to have a discussion thread about LGBT fiction, similar to the one we have for YA fiction.
(Speaking of the YA thread, you don't seem to have it yet)
As for the second, I did make that thread, and I hope this helps it get a little more attention, so thanks. :)

Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Updated. Also, that thread is still accessable, it has merely been shifted to a more appropriate subforum.
Herald of the Literature Sub-Forum. Share me your favourite book/series/author!The Recommendations thread should be in the directory, regardless of its location. Because people ask for recommendations here.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.I have a question to pose to anyone who has read a particular book, about a detail of the plot that I can't recall. Would this be the right subforum for that? I ask because I'm not really interested in starting a full discussion thread, and the book is obscure, so I doubt such a thread would really thrive.

Couldn't find a William Gibson thread, so I created one.
Even though we have only five pages worth of threads in the Literature subforum, it still gets confusing. Here is a simple directory. Please post the name and links of thread here, and I will update the directory accordingly.
This will eventually be merged with the main Thread Index.
General Threads:
Threads specific to an Author:
Threads specific to a Book:
Threads specific to a Series:
Please format new links to the first page of each thread like this:
