She gains the powers to do this. Her training as a Shrine Maiden will come in very handy.. She gains powers to not only affect her own, but later evolves into being able to alter it in others/objects.
If you played as Zero in a megaman game, you know what to expect. As much as I don't like saying "think ****'s powers", that's what she can accomplish, with a side helping of Miko skills (if her plot-arc is resolved). (Sans crazy stuff like Dark hold (time stop) of course.)

It is, It was a an attempt to clarify what she had powers over. the Ki/qi stuff. Not the Cast From HP stuff.
Personally, I view it as Chakra of Naruto (not the IRL version ) being used in a method like DBZ and Zero of Megaman (sans flying). Easiest way for me to view it. until I started researching Chakra. Damn...I need a better description

though, draining all the energy/Ki/MP cannot be healthy for you. And pulling when there's nothing to pull will do you worse then Drain from HP. She can later learn how to affect others, and suppress it in others.

I see. But I think this will become much easier to explain once it comes into use. We can decide on a more precise term afterwards.

I apologize for the double posting.
Added the bio stuff we were talking about, gave more details about her power, and talked about her sexuality. Yes, Alexia is bisexual. She's in the closet about liking women, despite her playing the guy. A Closet Key like (like Inoue or Saki) should help if you're playing a girl and want to romance her. She's not easy to romance though (at this stage at least. Being herself again will reduce the difficulty).
These changes ok?

Hmmm... would it be too much to add Hiraku becoming an android? Maybe down play his Techno Wizard growth to compensate. It just seems that we've all missed that half of the change.

I wasn't thinking of any electrical powers. More internal wi-fi/internet connection, super hacking abilities, instinctual knowledge of tech. Maybe super repair jobs like the page image.
I don't really know, it's all rather vague at the moment (but that's okay!).

No powers yet, Robotification is a bit much for the setting. I figure controlling and manipulation electronics/computers should be enough. Though you could use your advance techopath abilities to give yourself cybernetics implants and the like.

I hope your arm feels better soon. Take it easy and don't strain it. You might have just pulled something accidental.
To add to what Vyctorian (don't worry, I promise I'll remember how to spell your full name without C+Ping before the RP is through) suggested, you could also rip apart other metals and electronics to make new ones, or create improv armor.
I remember a character (that Tasha girl actually) in one fightscene ripped apart a few cars and turned them into a junk-metal pseudo-armor for her. She beat the stuffing out of her foe. I could definitely see him doing that. though it may border on electromagnetism.
(Granted, she still lost because she forgot about the car's gas tank. But hell. It was a crapshot that her opponent actually managed to stab it with a flaming knife and blew it up, which KOed Tasha and nearly killed her foe.

If what happened to her was the last school year...and she went shut in and never finished that year (As I said, she never went back to her school)...which would mean she'd have to restart the school year.
So when I think about it. She'd be a schoolyear behind from the people around her age. That or she was a junior last school year and this year as well...
Bah. I'm not thinking too deep into this. I'm not super-analyzing and finding a solution while I could just say "tha" and go with that. So I'm saying "tha"
What you put I'm going with. She turned 17 September 9th this year in this school.
Oh, and lastly it's manipulation of Chi/Qi, Chakra, MP, Spiritual Pressure, Ki...that stuff.
