Agreed. I created Isamu and then read the recently created characters and was almost afraid that bit was too similar... but just decided to go with it. They seem like they would be friends.

So, uh... I'm going to bed soon. Like, now, soon. So I won't be able to post. However, tomorrow I'm sure I can bring something up. (>.< Sorry!)

Granted, being at almost peak physical form, I can imagine that some of the clubs would love to recruit her...as well as being a bishy and seeing what attention she'd pull from that

Ditto on that. We need everyone in to begin "the event". That, and Alex would prefer some guy company. Being the one "guy" in the room with a bunch of cute girls that he is finding himself attracted to (Inoue mostly) is the start of a Harem story, not a serious Sci-fi one.

But bah, I have no idea what that above paragraph means.

Ian is in the room, but for the most part he's just sitting on a beanbag. He's just looking at everyone, listening to their beliefs, and rolling his eyes at the ones that seem ridiculous, as well as scoffing at the alcohol being passed around (He's decided he's above drinking for now).

Do we have an official character list somewhere? Because I'm getting confused about who's who. A short summary would be nice.

...And is my character the only one with an English name? Well he could be a transfer student. Yeah that works.

Not official, but I've been thinking of making one for my own convenience. I might put it up here afterwards.

I second that list. Alex's name is western (because he made it up). Though, the real name is a bit western as well...for a japanese blond, while common in anime...I feel like I ought to give Alex some western connection (like alex's father/grandfather is american or something)

Simplistic character-list is finished, organized by year and in order of sign-up. I decided to use the Western name order, to make it easy.

SENIORS

• Inone Souchi (female, 17), played by Vyctorian. Class president with influential parents, money and a drinking problem. Lesbian/bi (?) and outgoing. Likes a good book. Changes into a animalistic monster over time. Glasses.
• Izyna Macvan (male, 17), played by King Nerd. Lazy and slightly perverted anime-, comic- and videogame-nerd. Good with maths and science. Likes to help people. Shapeshifter powers. Wears a hoodie.
• Aoi Murasaki (male, 17), played by Lemurian. Tall, polite and elegant. Tea Ceremony Club founder and vice-president of Art Appreciation Club. Popular with the girls. Three siblings, younger sister in middle school. Interested in traditions and history. Ability to manipulate boundaries (create portals). Contact lenses.
• Azaka Hajime (female, 17), played by daltar. Stubborn but quiet girl, strong morals and a quick learner. Awaits meaning to her life. Extremely ordinary life. Psychokinetic powers. Hime cut and glasses.
• Takashi Tezuka (male, 17), played by Rareitor. Energetic and impulsive optimist. On the Track Team. No sense of personal space, no indoor voice. Body produces smoke. Always smiling.

JUNIORS

• Takeo Masoni (male, 16), played by whizzerd. Tall and sporty guy; martial artist, swimmer and tennis-player. Doesn't talk much. Slacker and skips school, but smarter than he may seem. Verbally abusive mother. Mind reader.
• Hayato Masaru (male, 17), played by DAcriznips. Tall swimmer. Laid back and humorous, coward around girls. Keeps it a secret that he's good at chess and that he's in the cooking club. Water control powers. Wears an old grey five panel hat.
• William Martin (male, 16), played by Sijo. Shy and nerdy Latino who has trouble being social. In the Comic Book club. Telekinesis.
• Alex Zeros/Alexia Ceros (female disguised as male, 17), played by Nicktendonick. A loner with long blonde hair. Athletic and very good with a sword. Knowledgeable about video games, media, anime and manga. Is in the Newspaper club, and used to be a member of the Literature club. No social life. Manipulation of life force. Long blonde braided ponytail. Is actually female.

SOPHOMORE

• Saki Sasaki (female, 15), played by Rena The Archmage. Gossipping Editor in Chief of the school newspaper, the Kyouto Insider, as well as Track Team manager. Short temper, high energy, easily bored, short attention span. Fire-powers. Wears a grey ushanka. Glasses.
• Ian Alivio (male, 16), played by Insano. Filipino who has lived in the USA. Started at Kyouto in freshman year. Quiet, intelligent and introverted, but seeks company when feeling lonely. Romantic, looking for love. Self-loathing. Video Games Club member, plays guitar, martial artist and weapon-user. Powers related to super speed and super reflexes. Digital watch.
• Kaoru Otonashi (male, 14), played by Kuiper. Lazy and overweight conspiracy theorist. Otaku, in the anime club. Not a pervert. Quick learner. Wealthy parents, big allowance. Gravity control powers.
• Hiraku Tanaka (male, 15), played by Luthen. Observant multi-tasker with a lot of changing interests. Butts into other people's conversations. In a lot of clubs. Most notably the secretary of the computing club. Good with computers, talent at kendo. Helps out at the family shop (computer service shop with internet cafe and video rental). Technomancy powers. Long ponytail.
• Kaneko Chokichi (male, 14), played by Replica. Ill boy, very thin, albino. In therapy because of tough childhood. In the literature appreciation club. Quiet and doesn't like talking with people. Intelligent, fluent in English. Power to make people hate things. Bald, frail, uses a stick. Dark glasses for eye-protection.
• Quinn Barksdale (female, 16), played by deathpigeon. Sarcastic, untidy and unwanted by her intensely religious parents. Is bored by and/or hates pretty much everything, save politics, fencing, books and the 2012 club. Founder and president of the Tautology Club. Invisibility powers. Broken glasses fixed with electrical tape.
• Mark Meschaninov (male, 15), played by Hyena Cros. Fun-loving, gun-obsessed expert martial artist suffering from schizophrenia. Moved to Japan less than a year ago. Makes weapons in his free time and peddles them to those who want them. Impulsive and liable to turn insane when angry. Member of the Ultimate Frisbee Club. Power to duplicate himself, with his schizophrenic personalities taking care of the other bodies. Caucasian, with Russian and Spanish features.

INACTIVE CHARACERS

• Jun Akutagawa (female, 16), played by vaultofechoes. Pretty, elegant polite and pleasant towards everyone. Does not take kindly towards being treated badly. Somewhat enigmatic and distant. Intelligent, skilled and Yamato Nadeshiko-seeming; in the Floral Arrangement, Cooking, Tea Ceremony and French club. Demanding mother with a mental illness. Power to grow plants.
• Leon Relith (male, 16), played by kingbishop. Heavily built American, moved to Japan 3 years before. Loves geology and spelunking. Good eye for detail, and a good sense of direction. Speaks okay Japanese. Not good with a lot of people, easily distracted. Slowly starts turning into a Western style dragon. Glasses.
• Isamu Ishiguro (female, 15), played by Morgana le French Fry. Very energetic, switches interest a lot, can concentrate acutely. In the debate and anime clubs. Hopeless romantic klutz. Object memory powers, can see an objects past and make it assume a previous form. Very colourful clothing.

1) You missed Alex / Alexia. (just list it as Alex Zeros / Alexia Ceros ). We're not hiding her real gender here, figuring I had to blow the beans.

I'm not really sure on that last name. Ceroes has a nice ring to it, I'm feel...it's not actually last-name ish. I need a last name that sounds right and that references that whole Zero thing. (or at least, that's the idea).

2) Just to let EVERYONE know, In japan, high school is just 3 years. Middleschool is 4. In the states it's reverse (in the US, 3 middle and 4 high). But I don't know much aside from that.

(as a matter of fact, if anyone looked up that Akemi visual novel I said you could find if you googled, that's what stopped me. I wrote the whole thing not realizing this)

You know more about this? Please let me know. Please. I really don't know much about schooling in Japan. If you want to through P Ms, that's fine too

and also, I originally said 17, but I never did say what year he was in (senior, junior, or sophomore. I think either Junior is good, or maybe sophomore.)

Really sorry about that. I don't understand how I missed her, honestly.

Anyway, she's added now. A seventeen year old sophomore sounds a bit odd seeing as we currently have them from 14-16, so I put her down as a junior for now.
