Jason Martin says he should have another album out this year.

Listen to Music with Tropers at The Troper Turntable!Machinae Supremacy "might" have a new album out this year. (Wouldn't want to break the even numbers pattern.) So that'll be sweet if it happens.

I guess it is.So far, just the new Sleigh Bells, I guess. Kanye West and his lablemates are supposed to drop GOOD Music The Album sometime in the Spring, so that too.
(屮≖益≖)屮 彡 ┻━┻ F*ck yo' table; Go read my book! —> http://goo.gl/mtXkmIs it bad that I've heard of maybe only three or four artists listed in this thread so far?

You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!- Code For Silence. OMG, when the hell will they release Eyes World Shut? If it doesn't release this year, I'm gonna cry.
- Between the Buried and Me.
- Devin Townsend, AGAIN. Dude's likely to pull off two albums this year.
- Still Remains (thank you for reuniting)
- Scar Symmetry pulls one album per year average, so I can hope.
- Bleeding Through.
- Solution .45, Miseration, and half of Christian Alvestam's bands actually.
- The Stranded, Disarmonia Mundi + Nero Argento + random professional skater dude. Not confirmed though.
- Silent Descent.
- Caliban.
- Periphery.
- Poseidon was out in 2010, so... I can hope for a new Dagoba album, can't I?
- Same goes for Ill Niño.
No-Ones mentioned the new Burial EP slated for early this month? For shame.
The Diablo Swing Orchestra: Pandora's Piñata

I didn't write any of that.Oh sweet Ishvara, don't tell me they're still whining about their butthurt fanbase. Any metal band that's actually surprised by fanbase douchebaggery these days needs a firm reality check.
Music's probably going to be good though.

Because I choose to.I suppose the new Madness album will come out.
Is that too mainstream for this thread?
What Meta said. Other than that, maybe The Pirate Ship Quintet will actually finish up either album and get it released by this year.
Imagine Rakan applying Calling Your Attacks to doing paperwork.~Anarchy Rakan for the hell of it COMMISSION THIS BRIDGE!~EHKHmm... I'm kind of looking forward to the projected-to-be-enormous forthcoming Swans album, myself, but that's because I'm an inveterate, simpering Gira fanboy.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.@Neo thanks for the news about Still Remains reuniting - always thought they were a lot more talented than the vast majority of modern metal bands - love their use of keyboards.
Pepe Deluxé: Queen of the Wave. [1]
I didn't write any of that.I'm looking forward to Good Music.
If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul.I totally already made that post...
I guess it is.- Empyrium (hopefully; they are back together now after all)
- Atheist (Kelly confirmed on his Facebook that there will be a new album this year)
- Eluveitie - Helvetios
- Obscura - Illegitimation
- Meshuggah (confirmed to be finished, awaiting further details)
- Metallica (yes, I'm probably one of ten people who hasn't given up on them)
- Nails (pretty sure I read somewhere they're releasing a new one this year)
- Nile (ditto)
- Rush - Clockwork Angels
- Sleepytime Gorilla Museum
- Soundgarden
- Tool (maybe?)
- Wormed
- Woods of Ypres - Woods 5: Grey Skies & Electric Light (okay, so it's already leaked, but I want it on CD dammit!)
New year, new topic!
I've heard... three albums and a mixtape so far this year. My favorite is the new Guided by Voices album, Let's Go Eat the Factory. It also contains my favorite song of the year so far, "Chocolate Boy". It's good, but it can and will be surpassed, of course.
So, what are you looking forward to in the new year?! Me, I'm excited for:
- of Montreal - Paralytic Stalks
- Alcest - Les voyages de l'ame
- The Magnetic Fields - Love at the Bottom of the Sea
- Sleigh Bells - Reign of Terror
- Spiritualized - Sweet Heart Sweet Light
- Tegan and Sara's new album
- Azealia Bank's debut album
- Anything Lil B and Curren$y come out with (and they will, in bulk)
- New Bruce Springsteen!
They're off the streets now, and back on the road on the riot trail. http://www.last.fm/user/sca_punk
