I hit a nail! Yay!
Have a cookie!
Anyways, the reason I keep bringing up the Matrix franchise is because one can really learn a lot from how it crashed and burned, and what not to do when continuing a franchise, or trying to create one. Really, the main lesson I hope Disney takes from it is to make sure that the story and characters come before the themes and spectacle.
Yes, the themes about familial love and self-sacrifice are integral, along with the amazing visuals of Elsa's powers and the sweeping musical numbers. But at the end of the day, it's the characters of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and the others, along with the greatly told story that made the film so beloved. As long as the latter comes before the former, this franchise should stay strong.
If not, well it may end up be becoming a, erm, frozen relic of The New '10s.
Indeed, thank you for perfectly phrasing what I had tried to express.
Like I said before, the fact that they went from focusing Frozen Fever on Olaf to focusing it on the sisters relationship makes me hope that they realised that the movie success was due to that, and not the funny characters, the awesome visual effects and the camera switching to bullet timenote at dramatic moments (yes I'm still talking about Frozen ).
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Dont think Frozen really should have a sequel (yes, I know money talks, but I'm talking story-wise). The first seemed too wrapped up at the end for it to happen. But I suppose if Disney wants to explore some potential important loose ends like how some seemingly ordinary royal couple sired a child with magic powers, it could work.
If anything, I think the movie wrapped things up way too quickly without taking the time to explore Elsa's readjustment to society and Anna and Kristoff's new relationship. In fact, I'd argue the movie doesn't stand perfectly on its own.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought that Frozen ends a bit too abruptly. I would have loved to see a bit more of the reconciliated sisters interacting, if only through a musical number while they skate together.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.That's why I like seeing all the fanart and fanfic made after of the two sisters having fun and catching up on the years. It assures me that things stayed alright after the movie ended and the next scene after the first ice party wasn't The Southern Isles declaring war, led by the Twelve Horsemen of Death Times Three.

Now there's Frozen Fever for that too.
Although the idea of the Southern Isles declaring war on Arendelle made me imagine this conversation:
Hans: We've got an army!
Anna: We've got an Elsa!
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.
Well, considering how it was love that made Elsa gain control over her powers, dabbling into the opposite side of the emotional spectrum by going into war... who knows how that could backfire on her?
Well, love gives her control, allowing her to melt her own ice and stop it coming out accidentally.
Rage and love being two sides of the same coin, I'd surmise that Rage gives Elsa more offensive control.
In my fanfic, rage gave Elsa access to Thundersnow.
I have often wondered what rage would do with Elsa's powers. Although if the scene in the ice palace with the guards is any indication, she seems to have no problems controlling her powers when angry, only they have more dangerous effects (this is basically what I used in my fanfic).
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.In the sequel Elsa makes the sudden discovery (through a series of flashbacks to the 1st movie) that her sister is actually more magically powerful than she is.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."She discovers that Anna has complete invulnerability, except against magic, has superstrength, and she finally discovers how to fly at the end of Frozen 2 (she was already shown being able to hover anyway). It transpires that she was born during an alignment with planet Krypton.

Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Correction, she was found after such an alignment. Otherwise good.
This will of course come up after Anna talks about having kids and Elsa asks if she'll reuse her old space capsule.

"Show us the Galaxy Warp."This should go on an actual WMG page.
No, actual WMG would respect the WB/Disney boundary like...
After her sister is reclaimed by the Frost Giants Anna stumbles over a hammer, and is found worthy.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Anna discovers her strength increases when she is under a strong emotion, then one day she gets really angry and something happens...
Anna realises she can control a mystical energy that allows her to increase her strength and reflexes (we already saw how strong she is), move things with her mind, sense other living beings (that's how she managed to find Oaken), influence and control other minds (everyone but Hans is very nice to her), and so on.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Anna was kidnapped as a child and inducted into the SPARTAN II program. After Elsa managed to rescue her, the traumatic events were wiped from both their minds.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!A SPARTANNA-II?
"This! Is! SPARTANNA!"
Kristoff is a keeper (context)
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.10 bucks says he arranged all of that in the last ten minutes, when he realized they were coming home. Being the royal ice master must be paying well.
You hit it right on the head. Good job!
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."
