Sexy new way to boost forum coolness. (The Herald Thread):
Eddie has left these considerations to us. It may take a while to look over them.

Re-re-posting some things to make them easier to find * I'll try to do this every five pages, as close to the top as possible, to make it easy to find :
This is the link to the list of which forums have and have not been assigned.
Here is a link to the forum rules.
And this is a current, updating list of those drafts which have been proposed but not accepted or rejected. Stars indicate that the person has confirmed that they are still interested in and available for the position.
EDIT: And apparently the note markup isn't working.
edited 26th Jun '12 12:25:50 PM by Nocturna Just popping in to note that 1. I'm still up for the position and 2. I tweaked my message a bit to fit the new content guidelines better. Let me know if I need to fix anything else.
Since Shima is busy with the Badge Shop, I will be helping over here.
It's safe to say that World Building and Forum Games are indeed open, since those heralds are apparently no longer around. Never thought World Building would be this much trouble.
As for the already existing drafts, I haven't had time to look at everything. I have, however, set up a new herald. Japanese Teeth is now the herald for Fan Fiction.

![[up] [up]](http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/smiles/arrow_up.png) I just got the PM...had a good chuckle over that.

Could I please be sent a Herald badge?
Oh yeah, if anyone who's already been set as a herald wants a badge, feel free to tell us. We'll send you one.

'Thread' was misspelled (no 'a') when the title was changed.
/small, Spelling Nazi nitpick.
I dunno.
Thataway
It was not misspelled.
If you say so, Fighteer.
oh fighteer

Aw yeah.
TV Tropes mods: retconning reality since 2009.
Anyway, I'm wondering if we ought to start sharing feedback, so we can figure out if tweaks need to be made to our PMs or other aspects of the herald program. I'm a bit reluctant to do so here, as anyone can read what we say (and PMs are supposed to be private for a reason). Thoughts?
Don't screw with Capitalism!
![[up] [up]](http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/smiles/arrow_up.png) I suppose we still can see what still needs revision. Myself, I'm seeing if anyone has a suggestion to enhance mine.
It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere
I'm all alone, more or less.
Let me fly far away from here!
Whoohoo I finally have a purpose!
@Willbyr: What exactly was chuckle-worthy?
Also, I suppose this means I need my herald badge as well.
Also also, I might be having internet connectivity issues in the near future, so if I disappear for a bit it doesn't mean that I'm abandoning my post, it just means that the relatives I'm visiting don't have an internet connection.

If I may, I would like to make a small change to my greeting. See, this sentence:
By this, we mean that arguing and whining over which consoles you play your games on and why the consoles you oppose aren't up to snuff. Not allowed.
is actually supposed to be like this:
By this, we mean that arguing and whining over which consoles you play your games on and why the consoles you oppose aren't up to snuff is not allowed.
edited 27th May '12 1:00:34 PM by Komodin @Earl: Same with mine. Suggestions on my proposal are greatly appreciated.
Quick note: Should the Know the Staff page list the heralds, or at least link the to page that lists the heralds?
Seeking for Light
![[up] [up]](http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/smiles/arrow_up.png) I think that was decided against, at least implicitly as it's been brought up before and hasn't happened. I'm pretty sure we're more "volunteers" than "staff". Not that the staff aren't volunteers as well.
Really, what do Heralds do? The only change I've seen in my forum experience is I get the occasional response in the nature of "Okay cool, thanks."

I wouldn't really want to be on Know the Staff because I think it would make me seem more important than I actually am.
S'morizard
Yeah I don;'t really see heralds as any sort of staff. We don't do a whole lot.
