^ Well, she does seem to have plenty of experience with that last part, in general...
Kirchner has drafted plans to disband and replace the entire intelligence agency over the recent assassination, which she has now said does not look like suicide to her.

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects. If that happens the new agency is either going to be full of kirchnerist yes men (like most government-owned stuff here), who are going to be hell for the next president if s/he happens to be part of the opposition (it already happened in 2001, although that guy was terrible whitout help). Or it's going to be the same agency with a new name and some "cosmetic" changes.

1 2 We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be. -KVWhen did Kirchner stop wearing black in all her public appearances?
Schild und Schwert der ParteiThe murdered prosecutor had drafted a request for Kirchner's arrest. How thick is the plot now?
Meanwhile, Kirchner's has stuck her foot in her mouth on Twitter.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiot... She's been unravelling for a while, now. But, it's seriously picked up the pace, recently. -_-
Well, Cristina Fernández of Kirchner has been indicted for alleged cover up and noncompliance of public servant duties (no idea if that is an acurate translation in meaning of "incumplimiento del deber de funcionario público). There where also indicted the foreign minister Héctor Timerman, deputy Andrés Larroque and Luis D'Elía.
Google Translate comes back with "breach of duty of a public official", so...
For clarification, the indictment comes back to the allegations that Iranian agents blew up the Jewish Center in Buenos Aires in 1994

Old forums let me be logged on multiple devices. Now it doesn\'t, and I don\'t feel like fighting my phone every time I want to post.Banknote issued proclaiming Argentina's sovereign love of the Falklands British response to this is just awesome.
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom....Why is Galtieri humping Argentina.
Schild und Schwert der ParteiSeems as apt a description of the period as anything i've seen.
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.BBC: Argentina threatens to prosecute oil companies in the Falklands
The officials said companies active there were operating illegally in Argentine territory.
The announcement came as Argentina marked the 33rd anniversary of the war with the UK over the islands.
Earlier this week, three British oil exploration companies announced new oil and gas finds north of the islands.
Kristina presses the old distract public button, and the sad thing is ti will probably work.

I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.UK spied on Argentina over alleged new attempt to take Falklands – Snowden leak
Britain Used Spy Team to Shape Latin American Public Opinion on Falklands
Britain and Argentina summon each other's ambassadors in Falklands row
Basically, the articles say UK spied on Argentina for fear of an attack or of public opinion changing in favour of Argentina in the Malvinas/Falklands issue. The spying is said to have begun around 2008, which is when the Argentine goverment started aligning with Venezuela. Unasur also came up then and international opinion could maybe veer towards Argentina.
The ones that first reported on the spying were TN (Todo Noticias), an Argentine news channel part of Clarin Group, the media corporation the goverment has this all out battle with, which is maybe why the goverment took about a week to react to the news.
All in all, I think the current mood is 'what else is new?'.
I'm hesitant to condemn London for trying to gather information regarding a potential attack on it's territory.
The other stuff is pretty dirty, but pretty typical.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Yeah, it's not like that stuff about the NSA spying on the German government. We're talking here about two nations that have been at war with each other within living memory and between whom the rhetoric is still flying.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Sounds like GCHQ doing what it's meant to do for once, I mean really, spying on a hostile government that constantly making noise about how it should own your land, isn't that kinda what intelligence agencies are for?
What's Snowden's logic for leaking this, how in any way is it doggy or questionable?
Also I love how you have to get two thirds of the way though the article before they mention that the people whoa actually live on the Falklands have decided overwhelmingly to stay with the UK. They also never mention that the calls by the Argentina government for 'negotiations' have been accepted plenty of times, on the condition that the islanders be the ones negotiated with.

From someone who was ruling it to be a suicide and then back to murder again, all she is doing is to make her look worse every time she opens her mouth to make any statement.
