I'd be totally on board with this if I didn't lack
a) Skype b) Acting talent c) Time
Good idea though. Hopefully something comes of it (:
I'd LOVE to take part, but that's mostly because I'm desperate for any form of social interaction. Will we do musicals?

signature lineNot unless we have a very good pianist and somehow everyone's able to get access to the score, not to mention the difficulties of managing to get all that coordinated over a group Skype call. So probably no - just some straight plays that can be easily found online due to being in the public domain.
At present I'm thinking of GK Chesterton's Magic. Cast of characters is as follows:
- The Duke
- Doctor Grimthorpe
- The Rev. Cyril Smith
- Morris Carleon
- Hastings, The Duke's secretary
- The Stranger
- Patricia Carleon

Fanfiction I hate.If I had Skype I would join you...
This is unfortunate...
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyIf I had Skype I'd be a pianist/singer for you guys. Otherwise, I'm somewhat lacking in acting talent so no
If I can find time, and my parents don't find out, I would love to.
However, It would need to be a PG-13 or less rated play. I refuse to say anything worse than f***, or describe in explicit detail a [CENSORED].
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.I don't have Skype but I could get it with minimal effort. Is Magic online? It probably is if it's in the PD. I have a LOT of plays but no Chesterton.
Dramaturg, troper, theatre reviewer. (Please hire me.)Would love to join. And I have the Skype and some acting skills.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogI'd be fine joining this! Sounds like fun. Plus I've Skype.
The only thing I'd throw out which could be more hilarious is bad fanfiction, with each person voicing a character.

I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Count me in too! I'd love to get practice reading and acting.
The road goes ever on. -TolkienSince people have mentioned this here and there, we really should become organized about doing this. Such as posting our Skype accounts to bring this together.
For me, you can just add prime_of_perfection@hotmail.com. Simply tell me you're from tropes and I'll put two and two together.

Fanfiction I hate.I'm actually mildly interested in this, I could definitely use some acting practice and criticisms certainly wouldn't hurt. Skype name is Mr Shade NG
Wow, this forum is really dead. I won't be terribly surprised if I don't get a response

Skype Name is lancesolous13. I really wish you could change these things since I hate that name now...
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Sorry for the double post.
We've met on Skype now... Somewhat, and are deciding what our first show will be. At the moment, we have 3-4 actors and, at the moment, our show seems to be Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.
We've also briefly discussed recording it and posting the results. Anyone else interested?
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Hey guys. I just got Skype and I'm into plays and roleplaying and such. Can I get in on this?
You Are Not Alone...Until I Find You.Hopefully. We haven't managed to get it off the ground. If it does ever happen, probably not until Summer on account of I can't do stuph during the school year.
Heh. If only you'd asked like a month ago
Fanfiction I hate.
Okay, so I got an idea: there are a fair few of us on the forum who like plays and stuff, well why not have some Skype calls in which we do readings of plays? Sounds like it could be fun.
Granted, I have a cold, a headache, and boredom, so my judgment may be impaired.
