Someone in the Harry Potter universe. Not too picky, so long as I get to play Quidditch.
And better than thy stroke; why swellest thou then? The Doctor. And that's not just because a Time Lord would have a looser definition of 'week'...
Possibly a reality warper or some sort.
Doctor Manhattan from Watchmen fame.
With his near-omnipotence, I'd be able to thoroughly wipe out and destroy government and authority, via teleporting next to them and making their blood literally boil inside their veins. Better yet, they would not have any way at all to stop me.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.But Doctor Manhattan's life was a very lonely and troubled one. His character arc was entirely about how his status as a god made him unable to fully relate with normal human beings* .
As for the question at hand I would be Anne Beeche.

Banned entirely for telling FE that he was being rude and not contributing to the discussion. I shall watch down from the goon heavens.Probably some Reality Warper or Physical God. If I'm allowed to be anyone, might as well choose the best option.
Maybe Haruhi, because then I'd be a hot gurl to boot.
Murrl LustFatMIt doesn't matter: I would be Doctor Manhattan for a week... More than enough for a near-omnipotent character to thoroughly destroy government.
I'd be back to human status in a few days, more than enough to have solved all my problems.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.I really hope you mean that in a "I'd feel good about my body" sense, rather than an "I'd like to shag myself in that scenario." Because, as OK and morally acceptable it is to be attracted to a minor, it is simply wrong to be attracted to oneself in such a way. That's just narcissistic.
I don't think you get the point of becoming a character. You are only adopting the superficial abilities rather than the actual character of the character. Would Doctor Manhattan destroy government because he felt that Anarchy was the best way for the world to work? Of course he wouldn't, he has his own beliefs and morals and views of the world which would not make him think these things. Essentially, (from what I gather) the point of adopting the role of a character for a week is so that you can experience things you never have before and understand the ways others (In this case fictional others) perceive and understand things.

All I do, is sit down at the computer, and start hittin' the keys. Getting them in the right order, that's the trick.up @Marquis: Probably so it doesn't derail.
I'd be Kafei from Majoras Mask. Dat hair! DAT MASK!

Fine, I'll invent the most powerful and godly mary sue wish-fulfillment Anne Beeche ever, and be that Anne Beeche, if only to keep all you troper gods in check and to have fun building mead halls and shit. Making a mary sue should be easy.
But no, I don't have a real answer to this question. It's a pretty hard one.
EDIT: Real answer to the question: I'll be Ookami's Amaterasu for a week. Creating stuff by painting with a brush looks like fun, and it would be interesting to experience being a godly wolf and her version of Japan.

Banned entirely for telling FE that he was being rude and not contributing to the discussion. I shall watch down from the goon heavens.Hm. Do I get to remember what I learned during the week at the end of it?
If so, Detritus. Cue me going in the coldest place I can find and stay there for the whole week, proving all kinds of groundbreaking mathematical theorems. Fields Medal, here I come!
But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.Someone female, because why the hell not.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the thread title. In that order.

A single phrase renders Christianity a delusional cultInteresting choice. Why?
If someone became Doctor Manhattan for a week I doubt they'd bother with any of those things. When you adopt his perception of time, the universe and mankind's place in it, I doubt you would maintain the same perspective on such matters.
Because I'd like to see through the perspective of that lifeform.
A single phrase renders Christianity a delusional cultTedd. I'd have a hot, shape-shifting girlfriend with no nudity taboo, the ability to swap genders with the touch of a button, and I'm smarter than 99% of the people around me.

Who would you want to be and why?
I made a similar thread in the past but the difference this time is that it's temporal(to avoid the fear of stop being yourself, "dying"",losing your loved ones etc) and aimed towards fictional characters :) and it's a bit of a psychological experiment for my analysis on analysis/escapism (I want to update it with new info) ... not to mention fun!
