Reminds me of Haa Chan.

I think you're confusing Haa-chan with Hana-chan. Hana is from Doremi. Haa is from Precure. It's probably a reference to it, considering how the original Precure team worked on Doremi.

Also, if Haa really is the Emerald (which seems most likely so far), that'll basically make her like Shiny Luminous.

But, yeah, I'm not happy with this development, either. Mostly because it'll probably take attention away from Rico. And I really like Rico.

Like, Episode 6 hinted that she had a lot of magical potential that maybe she couldn't access before because she didn't have friends, and all that. But once the Sixth Ranger shows up, the focus immediately shifts to them, and then back to the pink. The 2nd character never gets to be important once something like this happens. That's what I'm worried about.

7. Under the sea. I guess mermaids are kind of a secret if no one knows about them. I'm starting to think those taking supplementary lessons are the lucky ones. Did no one think to ask the clams please? Mofurun knows how to put on a show. Ruby transformation was better, but Saphire is still good. Plus it has cooler speed/flight skills. And damn, a wave motion torrent from space. These two don't screw around. Too bad Jun didn't see what was going on. Hopefully it happens before the end.

Episode 9: "But Nobody Came" Edition

Okay, I probably shouldn't complain about monster designs that much, but that is literally just a giant clam with some seaweed on it.

Most clams have pearls inside them. This one decided to be greedy and have a sapphire.

Linkle Stone of Calmness? And yet it activated when to girls were yelling out loud.

You know what? I like both girls' Sapphire costumes.

So Ruby has Super Strength and Sapphire has flight? Okay then.

You know, these monsters really need to stop charging headfirst into finishers.

8. Riko has really bad luck with her statements. So Kei is going to be the source of the rumor mill. Emily looks like she'll have a bigger arc, so all three side girls are in for the long haul. Mirai is good at the whole following her instincts for good results thing. Miracle's new attack splits up the monster. That's neat.

Episode 8: "All of the Horsing Around" Edition

"This is how we do photographs in Magical Realm. Though really, it is just a really detailed drawing. Don't question us."

I feel like if you want to take a photo of your with a wild, albeit intelligent, animal, you need more than broom skills.

You know your plants are weird when they grow Playing Card Motifs.

I am not plant expert, but presuming that the pegasi aren't from the forest, that scent has ridiculous range.

I know you want to pretend you are not scared of anything, and rumors are meant to be taken with salt, but I think that is rather creepy.

I do find it weird that no one taught her how to fly a broom yet. I think she should have gotten some crash courses.

9. At least the new movie seems like it will have some decent fights this time. Marine continues to be a treasure. Riko sure is broken up about all this. Nice to see some tactics attempted. And nice to see Mirai and Riko riding on the broom again makes them faster again. Did no one see them transform? Lame. I guess the bulk of the rest of the series will be on Earth. Hopefully this will lead to Mirai getting some development, because so far the overwhelming bulk of that has been on the tsundere.

Episode 9: "I Said It Was Final Lesson" Edition

So Riko and Mirai's mother playing the pronoun game kind of got annoying really fast.

What's even worse is that Riko didn't see the family photo even though it was right next to her!

That's not the worst part either. Mirai looked directly at the Linkle Stone Topaz and just started to walk away from it before realizing what she saw! I know having a one-track mind has its downfalls, but that is as exaggerated as it gets.

10. Those sleeping bags are weird. Huh, maybe their luck is turning around. Or maybe not. Though why no one else picked up the shiny object I don't understand. How convenient that Riko just happens to run into mama Asahina. And somebody please just say her name already. At least Riko avoided making a complete fool of herself on technology stuff. So they're going public this time. I'm always annoyed when their 40+ battles with giant monsters always happens to occur where no one is watching. Looks like Mirai is getting off easy for just running off for a week. I'd really like to know what kind of lie she's going to tell.

Why would Mirai have to tell any sort of lie? Her grandmother said she'd sort things out for her back in episode 3.

Her mother also mentions that she's been at a "something-or-other school" for the past few weeks.

I'd generally expect a parent to want to know exactly what their kid was doing after they disappeared for a week. Then again, anime parents.

As we've said, she already knows. She may not be in the loop or have been given the complete picture, but she knows where Mirai was and vaguely what she was doing.

And like I said, I'd imagine she would want details of what she was doing. "Hey Mirai, where was this school? Why did you run off without saying anything? What were you learning there? etc." It's not an important thing or anything; I was just making a quick lame joke.

Episode 10: "Hightrain to Earth" Edition.

I'd imagine that fate of the world might be bit more important than necessarily going to school, if you can in anyway do that.

I am not really sure how confrontable sleeping in a giant shell might be.

Mirai, how did you screwed up that badly!?

Fate is a fickle mistress. Sometimes it favours you, sometimes it gives you the universal middle finger and sometimes it does whatever it wants.

You know, it is hard to take these monsters seriously due of how easily the Pretty Cures can pull out their finishers on them. Like they smacked it around couple of times, but they pulled out the finisher after it goes for next attack.

Hi, it's been awhile since I last follow Precure because of rl issues, so now I start to look around again. One thing that I want to confirm about; is it true that Miraculous Magic is the very final All Stars movie?

It seems likely. It's been implied with an animated short being done by precure animators for on e of the suepr sentai movies coming out this year, that the very thing people have wanted, Super Sentai x Kamen Rider x Precure crossover, will become a reality at last as a replacement.

That's what the rumor and current plan is. No clue how it'll fair.

I really hope not as what we've seen from the All Stars, the movies only work in trilogy in term of quality. The first movies are subpar but kinda work as intro for the next movies, the second movies are pretty good but nothing very special, while the third movies are awesome by using elements from previous movies and giving proper conclusion for the overarching theme.

I fear if they stop in this movie, there will be a satisfying end for the musical movies. I don't mind the Disney-esque approach they took, but Spring Carnival is too lacking in term of musical movie's structure and original content, and while what I've seen in Miraculous Magic is pretty good, I don't think it will be enough to close the gaping maw of disaster that is Spring Carnival.

Time for the Go Princess Precure Movie. Or movies. Or one movie with 3 stories in 3 different animation styles. Interesting move, but it's likely to result in all of them being half-baked. Did that happen?

Cure Flora and the Mischievous Mirror

This is basically a Pixar short before one of their movies. Silent, cute animation, and just having Flora bond with some little creatures. Not much to say here really.

The Pumpkin Kingdom's Treasure

The main event. Huh, Twinkle getting the kill is unusual. Poor Yui (or maybe lucky Yui) gets left behind. Weird how Towa is the only one being suspicious of everything when they were dragged here by force. And why did she never tell Minami and Kirara to be careful? Surprised Aroma and Pafu didn't call Haruka fat, especially with how she was eating this movie. Aroma is the true hero flying up and down and up and down. Nice fights as usual. Don't underestimate the pumpkin fairies in a fight. Oh hey, the princess gets to do something at the end.

Pretty predictable. Nothing too amazing or annoying. It was just okay. I don't have anything to say other than yup, that's a Precure movie.

Precure and Leffy's Wonder Night

So this is basically a CG episode. Weird that there are two separate kingdoms that revolve around pumpkins. The CG feels weird at times, but it does give a different atmosphere, which is nice. Leffy isn't a Precure, but she is far from helpless, which is a nice change of pace from that other princess. She does more and gets more development in less time too. Fights are surprisingly decent. Night Pumpkin has a nice design. Hah, bowling with pumpkins. Everyone gets to contribute to the win, and pumpkins all around the world sigh in relief. Unless they're on Earth. Oh, so the ed was basically created for this movie. No wonder it looked so different from the norm.

Surprisingly, this was the best part. The CG animation was a nice change of pace, and Leffy was a decent character for this sort of thing. It helps that she had a nice design that made her look like a Cure. Future movies need to make their co-stars more like her, that's for sure. This one is worth a watch.

11. So Deputy Headmistress is here to smooth out Riko's transition. Nice to have someone take care of that officially for once. And they get one of those awesome Crystal Balls too. Grandma smoothed out the Magic School thing well. Clever lady. I like the school uniform. Riko is terrible at this whole keep your magic secret thing. And Natsuki either has terrible or supreme luck. Since nothing was settled with her yet, I imagine she'll be a reoccurring issue. Mirai has some nice friends. I'm not annoyed by Mofurun since he(?) is still less than 2 weeks old and doesn't have any experience in this secret stuff, especially after being in public in the Magic World. New transformation is decent. And wow at their new powers. Object creation is always a killer. Hammer time from Miracle. New attack seems kind of meh-oh they're electrocuting it with giant Linkle Sticks. Still eh-wow it's being thrown far-did they just activate a volcano? The attacks here are making Honey's look lame in comparison, and she was hitting enemies from space. Haa is older again. They grow up so fast. Soon she's going to be too big to hide.

So Miracle has the Goldion Hammer. Hm.

If Saban dubs another series, which one do you think will be dubbed?
