Sonic Generations, my first self-christmas gift(the other being Mario Kart 7) arrived today, along with Rayman Origins, which I can't play until the big "X". My Lady Gaga concert Blu-Ray movie(Over two hours long with an amazing set list) is on its way, and next week my complete Harry Potter Years 1-7(8 pc) Blu Ray set will ship.
And finally, I'm getting back into writing. Inspiration has struck and I'm working on my book, my play, my screenplay, and I've written three more songs. Not only that, but I'm back to painting and drawing. I've realized that the reason I can't create art I'm happy with is because I'm an abstract artist. When I experiment and strive to create what I feel, I'm finally happy with my work.

I got invited to yet another Wheel of Fortune contestant audition

I recently-ish got to see one of my favourite bands in concert. I've seen them a few times before, but I still had a great time. I sung along until my throat was sore. The frontman was signing stuff after the concert, and when he saw me he grinned and said that he'd noticed me singing along from onstage. It was a small venue and my seat was near the front, so it was probably true. I got a signature and a picture. It was an awesome night.

It's multi-purpose but it's focused in the bakery section, and I LOVE BAKING, BRUH.

And now that I don't have to study on weekends, I can do actual summer things!! I'm going hiking next weekend and camping the weekend after that! I've missed the woods so much being trapped indoors and in the city for so long!

Sorry for double posting, but this week keeps getting better and better!
I just got an email informing me that I was accepted into the prestigious research program I applied for a few months ago 
. The program only accepts like the top percentile of students or something like that, and includes mentoring, placement in a lab, professional development, and the opportunity to present research findings at conferences around the country
And not to mention a very generous stipend. And looking damn good on a resume.
EVERYTHING'S COMING UP CAILLEACH
There is a very good chance I may finally be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune.
For those who don't know, this is how it works. You have to either a.) attend a "Wheelmobile" event, or b.) submit an audition video.
Wheelmobile events are a random draw. You fill out a form, they pick five names at a time, then interview the five people and have them play a speed round. Lather, rinse, repeat. I have attended over a dozen of these since 2009, and did get picked a couple times. The most recent one I attended was in Louisville, but I did not get called.
If they like you at the Wheelmobile event, or if they like your audition video, then they invite you back for a closed audition. However, they also randomly invite a small number of people who did not get called at the Wheelmobile event to come to the closed audition. And that's where I was — I didn't get picked at the Wheelmobile event, but they invited me back anyway.
The closed audition consists of playing some puzzles and doing a written test. I got stuck on one puzzle on the written test, but at least put something down because they give partial credit. I got to play a couple more puzzles, and then got interviewed.
If I get a letter from them anytime in the next two weeks, then that means I am finally in the contestant pool.

Wheel of Fortune. I don't have the "when" yet, but I got a letter saying that I'm officially in the contestant pool, and they'll inform me when they want my tapedate.
I like driving a lot, and I'm good at it too. Maybe it was what I was meant to do.
I just hope self driving cars don't get in the way of that.

I'm feeling 100% better after that terribawful thing that was going on in my body last night.
Guess what time of day it is? Evening, my favorite part of the day, when all my stress just disappears. And now that one of my biggest problems has been (mostly) solved today, I don't think I'll be too worried again for a little while.

I got an English reply from a birthday message to a favourite Japanese singer. She seemed to be very happy about it. In turn, I'm very happy that she does care about her foreign fans.
