A Hellsing Ultimate Abridged that's actually coming out in October?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Don't forget that we have Kaiser's permission to crucify Taka because we didn't get two episodes that one year.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!We can't crucify him.
The show isn't finished yet. Wait until after the finale, then crucify him.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? All the best stuff is coming out on my birthday.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenWouldn't staking him through the heart be more appropriate?
It's been 3000 years…what about implement ala Vlad the Impaler.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaStream's up. It looks like they're marathoning the previous episodes before showing the new one.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Remember when they promised 2 episodes a year?
Find the Light in the DarkMan, the new episode was amazing. I'm really sad that they cut out Seras saving Alucard from God Monster Anderson though.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!On the other hand, we did get an uninterrupted Anderson fight.
Burning love!Holy shit, that was good.
Oh God! Natural light! The You Tube release. And, if interested, the link to that Alexander Anderson Hamilton parody:

Burning love!Oh my god that was completely fucking perfect.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Not really sold on the inclusion of God and Satan as characters. It completely kills the moment.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Yeah, count me in as the God and Devil conversation going over like a wet fart in Church.

My various fanfics.Eh, I kinda liked it but it was the weakest part.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I agree that it's the weakest part in that it kills the pacing but I also adore it because of how they perfectly portrayed both God and Satan. Ben (hbi2k who co-wrote a number of the episodes) used to be a Catholic and the knowledge gained during that time is fully on display there.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Eh, the conversation with God and Satan seemed pretty inline with this.
I liked all the interactions in this episode. Surprisingly different yet the same.
I thought Satan showing up was a bit boring, but I did actually enjoy God's appearance. Alucard chatting with God was a neat moment, even if you could tell how lopsided in favor of Alucard the conversation was. It helped kind of deal with one of my issues in the original series (in which Alucard is just a complete psychopath who the story inexplicably wants you to feel sorry for over his bullshit excuses), as Anderson's and God's "I forgive you" gives the whole thing a more Christian edge (i.e complete and somewhat insane forgiveness) which somewhat aids the idea Alucard deserves any kind of redemption.
It was also a pretty sweet change of pace. After all this series where Anderson is a "fire and brimstone" type Catholic, in his last hour, the "forgive and let live" shines through.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."So, the last couple episodes I kinda found meh, mostly because they focused too much on shit going down and not enough on the jokes (which tended to fall pretty flat anyways). This one has even more shit going down than usual, and I loved it to hell and back anyways. The writing felt a lot stronger than it's been since Episode 3, which is where I feel the series peaked. Jokes hit their mark more often too- for that matter, it felt like there were more of them this time around, which is nice.
Also I had a huge shit-eating grin when I recognized Ready to Die. I know that song really well from an Onlyafro video, but I hadn't heard it in a while, so when I heard the first few notes my brain did a few flips in my head trying to figure out where I remembered it from before a few hazy images of the Bed of Chaos popped in and I started laughing my ass off in delight.
Come to think of it, a lot of the music choices were pretty neat. Ready to Die segued pretty well into the opening theme, and the Big O soundtrack is always welcome.

but HOW?The one point I genuinely got chills was when Maxwell shouted "THE ONLY THING THAT CAN PIERCE MY POPEBOX IS THE WILL OF GOD ITSEL—" (Anderson's blade falls from the sky and pierces it through)

"All you Fascists bound to lose."I always thought Alucard was to be pitied, not sympathized with. Even the things from here are from the actual series, just with a twist of humor.

The original wants you to root, then pity, then and find his redemtion earned, in that order. The series expects us to overlook all this hideous shit Alucard has done and doesn't regret in the slightest because Alucard is a self-pitying pathetic mess with his head stuck so far in his own ass he could probably be the world's first self-ventriloquist.
This is a unavoidable problem. So Abridged doesn't really fix it as much as articulate better its justifications (Alucard's whole Insane Troll Logic "i must only be vanquished by a Man" being reworked in the mildly more functional "I cannot die whilst another monster lives"). The bit where I felt a mild improvement was had was with the addition of the Christian forgiveness angle (which is completely absent from the original).
