I now go by Graf von Tirol.I'm definitely interested in Plants vs. Zombies and Rock of Ages. Perhaps Dungeons: The Dark Lord as well, though I can't judge until I've finished the demo.

I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...Rock Of Ages caught my eye. Looks like the gameplay's alright, but the story and artstyle is right outta the Monty Python animated skits.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.Halloween Special on Team Fortress 2... YOU MEAN!!!??
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/I'm mainly interested in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. bundle.
Shutdown sequence initiated.Bloodlines is totally worth it but make sure to dl the fan patches for it to fix up all the bugs and stuff.
I'm thinking of getting STALKER but iirc it was cheaper in the summer sale (when I had no money) so my inner cheapskate is telling me to wait for the next steam sale.
Hmmm...
To buy, or not to buy Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines?

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Just got the entire Painkiller series for $4. From what I've played of the first game, that was worth the four bucks alone. I've heard the sequels are bad, but for this price, I really don't care if they're awful or not.

When Bioshock 2 came out, I was opposed to the very idea of it. I said that I'd refuse to buy it until it went under $5.
It's been a slow month, so . . .
(I've heard good things about a properly modded Bloodlines, too, but I'm not sure all the bug fixes from the mods were ever incorporated into the regular game, and I have a negative history both with mods and with horribly glitchy games.)

That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulDo not buy Bloodlines. None of the money goes to the original developers. Instead it would go to the guys who gave them the shaft.
^Though Valve does get a 10% cut, so...
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelAnd the asshats get 90%
The amazing storywriters and people who cared about the game get zip.

Since there is no way possible to give the original developers money by buying the publishers game it almost sounds like the only way one should get this game is through piracy.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Or find it used.
If the devs are gone, theres nothing wrong with pirating a game IMO.
Anyways, I'm thinking of picking up Pound Of Ground, among other non-sale games.
Maybe I'll even get a Team Fortress 2 bundle.

I wish it was clearer when buying older games where the money goes. I hope I haven't bought anything where the devs don't get any money.
DumboThat's still a really screwed up mentality to have. You're basically saying that if I'm not the orginal owner of the property you deserve the right to steal what I now own, regardless of the conditions of how I acquired it.
And even then if you actually go out use your money to buy the game then you're showing the new IP owners that there's still potential for the franchise, which may lead to a (very small) chance of a reboot.
Considering the next World of Darkness game is not being made by Activision?
No, there is not going to be a chance. 0.0% chance of them making anything with the IP.
Aw, shit, I bought Bloodlines for $20 a week ago...then it gets cheaper...then I find out that the people who deserved my money didn't get it.
Excellent game, though. I've bought worse for more money, even when I haven't installed any of the improvement mods yet.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storySo given the logic here I shouldn't buy Beyond Good And Evil either just because it is published by a company that's just as bad if not worse than Activision. BGE may be the only game I'd get from that company from here on out given their business practices. Anyways, back on topic:
I actually would like to have Bloodlines, seeing as it is some sort of Spiritual Successor to the likes of Deus Ex (and somewhat thanks to LittleKuriboh's Let's Play). As for Activision's library, I've no love for their business practices either, but there's not a whole lot aside from Bloodlines that interests me.

I now go by Graf von Tirol. No, Ubisoft, while lousy, still made BG&E, plus theres a possible sequel to show faith for.
Activision did nothing for the game, they just destroyed the company because they had the brilliant idea to launch it the same day as Half Life 2
Everyone who worked on Troika is now somewhere else.
But alright, I'll stop. Just making my point that money goes to NO ONE who worked on the game.
Well, buying/pirating decision aside, Bloodlines is absolutely a game worth having.
The haunted house area gets my personal award for "best horror level in gaming."

Everything there I either don't want, already have, or unfortunately can't play on my Laptop, so no regrets for me.
