Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Sequel to War for Cybertron announced.

This makes me very, very happy. I was a huge fan of the first, so a sequel to it means good things.

Yes! WFC was awesome.

GRIMLOCK IS IN THIS.

And The Fandom Rejoiced in-fucking-deedy!

OH HELLS YES... ME GRIMLOCK THINK IT'S SMASH TIME!!!

I wonder which grimlock they're gonna be using. The TV show's Hulk Speak grimlock? The Simon Furman one who brings Obfuscating Stupidity to an art form? The power-mad brute Jerk with a Heart of Gold from the early marvel continuity?

Well, considering how unbelievably awesome the first game was i'm just gonna put my faith in the devs.

A minimalistic but quite effective trailer.

High Moon has made some of my favorite games this gen. They're like the new Pandemic.

I wonder how dino combat will work.

Probably through ripping and tearing your way through any Decepticon that even looks at you funny. Grimlock's not one for civilised discourse.

Will we have guns? Or will dino mode be melee only?

Most likely melee, but he may have a back cannon or something like that. Hard to tell at this point.

Just when I'm about to forget about this game, it goes and drags me right back into being hyped. Autumn 2012 can't come soon enough.

Now THAT's how to make an enticing trailer. Consider this game pre-ordered and paid by me!

BTW, I don't think that's Devastator in the trailer. Looks too bulky to be him, and there never was a flyer in Devastator's combination team. It's more likely Bruticus or Ruination, they both have flyers and are a lot more beefy looking.

OH RIGHT, sorry, i meant Bruticus. That's definitely the combaticon gestalt seeing as Brawl was a part of it. Slip of the tongue. Type. Slip of the type.

That trailer was very Gears Of War-ish, along with plenty to get you excited.

It is interesting, both Optimus and Megatron have design changes that evoke the Transformers Prime look a little. The proportions in general are more lanky and less cumbersome looking.

Hey? Guess what. I'm excited. Looks like this game will be rectifying the few complaints I have about War For Cybertron.

War for Cyberton was one of my most favorite multiplayer games everrrrrr.

I played too much multiplayer of this. Very fast paced since you know, you're the vehicle

I'll buy it.

Not really a thread necro as there is new footage on the net for this game.

And wow, as if I wasn't pumped up enough already. The gameplay trailer has its sweet moments Cliffjumper pulling a backstab on a Decepticon, Jazz using his grapple hook to pull off moves Batman would be proud of, the mentioned Bruticus moments (Where I think you play him),

But this one spot takes the cake:

Its an actual scene from the game, where Optimus and Megatron are fighting on the Ark while its jetting away from Cybertron.

Megatron - "No one leaves without my Permission!"

Optimus Prime - "I wasn't Asking" Cue asskicking

I can't help but think while watching this:

• Megatron: You are outmatched, I have Bruticus.
• Optimus: We have Grimlock.

Or alternatively

• Megatron: I have an army.
• Optimus: We have Metroplex.

I love the last couple moments: Run little vehicons, RUN!

Another Metroplex trailer is out. Also, release date has been bumped up to August 21st.
