Long ago, an ancient superweapon, capable of shaping worlds, changing the laws of physics, and even influencing life and death, was lost. It was another casualty of a world-shattering war, that saw the deployment of indescribable horrors and carnage on a galactic scale. Its name was Sifuri, and, as the ashes settled on the remains of cities and combatants, it was decided that some things were best forgotten, and Sifuri faded from memory as its creators set about rebuilding and reconstuituting all that had turned to ashes. For billions of years, Sifuri lay abandoned and alone on a distant world, safely out of the ands of its creators and never to be used again.
But now, things are beginning to change. The embers of war are begining to stir. A powerful force looms on the horizon, and Sifuri may be all that stands between it and the destruction of its creators. Two criminals, seeking to atone for their misdeeds, assemble two competing teams- one based around the supernatural, the the other around the scientific- to recover the artefact. It will be a long and perilous quest across the multiverse to recover Sifuri... but will the forces of magic or science prevail?

Hello once more, and welcome to the signup thread for A Game Of Gods: Taskforce Sifuri. Now, the first thing that you're probably wondering is why exactly we need another spinoff. The answer is that this was initially going to be a plot in the current Infinities game, but due to my worry that the mini-epic would would take too long, I decided to spin it off into its own game. That said, this game is extremely close to Infinities, moreso than TOTG was to the original AGOG. Because of that, there will be several crossovers between the two. Besides that, all the same rules in AGOG, and general RPing etiquette should apply.

Signups
Naturally, the biggest 'gimmick', so to speak, of this RP is the fact that characters who have science-based powers are pitted against those who have magic based powers. I'm really hoping for even teams for this, so if we have too many people on one side than some people may be given control of a second character for the opposite team. Characters who use both magic and science, such as Magitek, will be admitted on a case-by-case basis.

I don't think we accept duos, but I think we could make an exception if the characters are nothing if not on a duo (like Sam and Max).

- Name: Kawashiro Nitori
- Appearance: Tada◊
- Verse: Touhou
- Background: Kawashiro Nitori is a relatively mundane kappa. When first met in Touhou, she was chilling, before getting jumped by the heroines, who then wrecked her optic camouflage. Later, she aids the heroines in solving the incident in the underground. In her last appearance, she sets up a booth that sells stuff in order to make money off of the recent events.
- Powers: As a Kappa, Nitori can manipulate water, similar to a water bender, though she doesn't have to move any body parts to do it. She also has a huge backpack that apparently works as a hyperspace arsenal, as she pulls out all manner of stuff from it, incl. drills, helicopter blades, loudspeakers, gears and more.
- Like most kappa in gensokyo, Nitori is highly proficient in her chosen field, this being engineering.
- Personality: Nitori is generally quite shy. However, she is also rather arrogant and proud, which makes for a somewhat odd combination. When running her booth, the people complained that she was swindling them, which she herself seems to regard as their fault. She is considered racist by some.

Background: "Daughter" of queen Hypolita of the Amazons.
Diana was modeled by her mother from clay and given life by the greek gods. As a chanpion of justice and peace Diana has come to wrong evils and fight the fights no mortal men could.
This is wonder woman early in her carrier.
Powers:
Tougher than average human but not complete invulnerable to piercing objects ( she uses bracelets to block bullets)

Super strenght/durabilty/senses Flight Beauty of Aphrodite
As an amazon Diana has been trained in all forms of ancient combat and she is a master using the bow, the sword and of course her lasso of truth.
Equipment: Lasso of truth: An unbrakeable lasso that compels anyone to tell the truth while under it's charm
Bracelets of Submission/Silver bracelets: Mainly used as a shield to block most kinds of attacks
Bow and sword: As a trained amazon warrior she is an expert in ancient weapons.
Personality:
Diana as a princess and an anazon warrior from paradise island is a skilled, strong and highly traidened warrior but extremely cocky and proud of her extraordinary skills
While she is a bit naive on the traditions of "men's world" due to the fact taht she has just recently come to America she is a good caring person and a strong and honorable warrior in her heart.
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.
I kinda want to have Nitori accepted quickly so RPG Legend can get some company.

- Name: General Sturnn
- Universe: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War
- Appearance: Grit◊ Incarnate◊.
- Background: As General of the Cadian 412th Regiment, Sturnn has seen his fair share of battles across more planets than can be easily counted. His most notable campaign took place on the Ice World of Lorn V where he engaged Chaos and Ork forces in an attempt to recover the Imperator-Class Titan; Dominatus.
- Powers:
- Sturnn is equipped with a pair of Lightning claws with an attached Storm Bolter and carries a Laspistol.
- Years of frontline combat has given General Sturnn a wealth of martial experience that he will not hesitate to put to use against his foes.
- General Sturnn is capable of impaling a foe on his Lightning Claws and throwing them a good distance with little difficulty. This would imply that his strength is superior to the average human.
- Despite many Imperial Generals wearing Carapace Armour breastplates, Sturnn wears naught but his uniform and a chest covered in medals. Despite what some would have you believe, this isn't decent armour (fortunately the General seems tough enough to take his fair share of blows).
- Sturnn is equipped with a pair of Lightning claws
- Personality: General Sturnn is a gruff, but practical man. Practical in the sense that he believes that sacrificing more troops than is necessary is a waste of good men and will not hesitate to join in the fray if he believes it will improve his odds of winning the battle. Despite the Imperium of Man's dogma against working with Xenos, Sturnn will gladly ally with a Xeno if it serves as a means to a victory for the Imperium.

@joergen: I'm a bit confused. I think you're missing key parts of your sheet (namely, the fields).
@RPG Legend: Again, like before, we're gonna have to decide what 'super strength' means. But before we do that, RPG Legend, you gotta learn how to make better sheets.
First, your sheet is lacking the '*', which turns things into a list. So this:
Tougher than average human but not complete invulnerable to piercing objects ( she uses bracelets to block bullets)
Fater than any animal on earth
Super strenght/durabilty/senses Flight Beauty of Aphrodite
Would turn into this:
- Powers:

What I did there is that I added a *(space) in front of Powers and **(space) in front of the others. Really simple, and now you don't have to keep adding space between the lines and the sheets look prettier. Now, something else we use a lot in sheets and in RP posts is bold and italics. They're really easy. Just add ' three times to the beginning of a phrase/word you want to bold, and then add that ' three times again at the end of the phrase. '(x3)Phrase you want bolded'(x3). So Powers turn into Powers. Italics is pretty much the same, instead that you only use two ' instead of three. '(x2)Phrase you want in italics'(x2), and Powers turn into Powers.
I really think you should sit down and read about the markups in this page, read all about them, practice them on the Sandbox (where you can post whatever you want), because your posts are severely lacking from not using them.
Also, grammar check is really important. Things like 'fater than any animal on earth' or 'as a chanpion of justice' shouldn't be left like that in the sheet. I'm gonna let it slide because I know you're new, but that excuse won't work forever, and there might be other people on this forum who would take one look at your sheet and tell you 'thanks, but no thanks'. Got it?
