I agree with shima — sort of. I do think that there should be some sort of attention deliberately called to the shoes, somehow — verbally, visually, plotwise... Otherwise it could easily turn into a drool page for any character that wears shoes someone thinks are cool. And the Real Life section should go.

This trope says that the narration has to make special mention of the footwear in some way. But many examples do not. Should we clean those out, or redefine this to just be the footwear version of Nice Hat, Pimped-Out Dress, and Pimped-Out Cape?
