Yeah. Most epic fangame ever.
I've been waitin' on it for about four years.
This looks... amazing. Any word on downloads?
And why didn't Magus show up in that Combination Attack used on Soma?
Wow, looks interesting. At least if it weren't for the long, long wait.
I can only imagine balancing would be a nightmare, but that's probably not the reason why people would want to play this. I'd probably freeze at the selection screen depending on how many people there are. That or just stick with a Shoto. >>

It's more frustrating waiting for the asskicking than the asskicking itself. If they've been working on it for four years, I would think they'd have enough characters to release it in some form at thIs point...

Welcome to th:|They keep deciding to add more in, I guess, and end up having to try and rebalance the rest.
Last update was September of last year. It's a good time to be wondering about the status of the project.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.Hmmm...well, turns out that according to the FAQ there are 36 playable characters that were already determined beforehand. Now why they have sprites for hundreds of characters, I'm not sure, particularly since most of the site isn't in English.

Welcome to th:|I'm liking the unified art style. But there are so many Ryus!
You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down!Basically they let anyone skilled enough in spritework to create a single still image of a character and add to the "Make an Assist Character later" pile.
They have Reiji from Namco X Capcom as playable BTW. To the people that understand who i'm talking about, that's a freaking awesome thing.
SHINRA BANSHOU!
All they would need is Scorpion, and I'd get it for sure. Actually, I'd probably get it anyway.
You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down!I freakin' knew you of all people wouldn't let me down on that one X 2 X.
IS he not on there somewhere? It's getting hard to check all the characters on the "Maybe" pile.

Where would the maybe pile be? If it's on the website, I wouldn't be able to find it because I don't read Spanish. I saw Sub-Zero as an assist in one video, but I'm not sure about Scorpion.
You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down!Someone want to explain just what this is for a guy who can't read the language on their website?
This is still being made?
Beorc already linked it, but here ya go.
They're up to 988.

I dont mean the simple sprites, I mean the GAME.
I've been checking it periodically for years, and yes, it's been updated periodically. Slowly. But surely.
Really.
Really.
Ssssssllllloooooowwwwwlllllyyyy.
It's perfectly normal to have him/her/them to post some test video, disappear for half a year, and then come along and say "OH RIGHT BY THE WAY WE JUST FINISHED LIKE TWENTY CARDS KTHXBAI"
It's the way of things when you are waiting on a game that's being made on somebody's off time.

I wonder if anyone will even remember the game if/when it comes out.
I remember seeing this back in late 07
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft instead...no Touhou?
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia! There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason by which the cards in that link are arranged (unless, of course, it's the chronological order they were completed, though one would think Squall would be further from the bottom if that were the case)...
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Wow, I actually remember running into this game a while back. Glad to see more gameplay for this after so long.
This game reminds me a lot of Super Mario Bros Z, in that it has amazing potential but is unfortunately very slow and sporadic in its updates. However, at least Alvin actually got past the "release to public" stage, and at least his site's got some semblence of activity. The fact that the last update was September 2010 means that either the project's been abandoned or it's being bogged down heavily by Real Life.
I know it's not fair to compare a Flash series to a MUGEN game, but I'm just bummed out. This game looks amazing with its fast gameplay, flashy attacks, and unified art style. It looks like MUGEN if the guy who made it actually gave a shit, and it pains me to see that the chance of this actually coming out is slim to none.
It's based on the MUGEN engine actually.
And don't worry, i'm sure it hasn't been completely abandoned. There have been longer periods of time without updates.
Personally i try not to remember the game exists and just silently wait in the background of my mind that it will be complete someday, and that when it is it will be flood the interwebs with declarations of its newfound completeliness. Worked for Streets of Remake.
Most Epic Fangame Ever?
Anyone got word on the status of this? The last gameplay vid(not the one shown above) was back from March, so I'm wondering if the project is still going. I hope so, the game looks like an absolute blast to play.
